This role supports all aspects of the customer experience, including sales support, technical product research, preparation of sales quotes and bids-particularly for large contractors and key accounts-order processing, pricing, and promotional initiatives. Position responsibilities:
Greet customers on the telephone in a prompt, professional and helpful manner.
Provide prompt, courteous service by listening to the customer's needs and requests and respond accordingly.
Handle customer warranty claims, and credit returns in a timely fashion by completing all appropriate documentation, receiving product items back prior to processing of any claims or credits in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP's).
Enter sales orders into Sales Order Entry System and process credit card payments in accordance with SOP's.
Answer incoming customer telephone calls and provide all aspects of customer service by: providing quotes or taking sales orders, research products/services and answering general information questions.
Calculate refrigeration load requirements for quotes and bids for refrigeration equipment.
Identify damaged inventory and bring this to the attention of the Store Manager for mark-down and quick sale.
Work the sales counter area during peak periods or for relief of counter sales reps on lunch, as needed.
Assist Account Managers with Key Customer's needs, bids, or quotes as requested.
Maintain a neat, clean and professional personal appearance.
Attend training seminars on products and services in order to acquire product knowledge in order to provide informed and effective customer service.
Time permitting - promote monthly flyers and special promotions by calling customers to make them aware of these promotions in order to enhance counter sales.
Alert immediate supervisor when showroom sales are observed to be brisk so that additional staff can be added to counter to avert long waiting times for customers.
Perform other duties as requested in order to maintain our high level of customer service through timely and effective teamwork.
Position requirements:
High School or general education degree (G.E.D.)
Good knowledge of personal computers.
1 - 2 years of previous retail / wholesale or customer service experience desired.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Position responsibilities:
Services customers' needs at Will Call counter by providing friendly, accurate and prompt fulfillment of orders.
Receives product into the warehouse; inspects freight for damage, verifies quantity ordered, checks shipments against packing lists. Uses RF scanner to receive product.
Replenishes stock, including re-stocking of picking stock, filling bin boxes, facing cartons, storing pallets, and rotating product as needed.
Fills customer orders by picking product using RF scanner, ensuring accuracy by scanning barcodes, and packing product into cartons or pallets.
Delivers products to customers as needed.
Services customer needs on the branch counter by providing friendly, accurate and prompt fulfillment of orders.

Ferguson is currently seeking an Industrial Turnaround Sales Support Representative to fill an immediate need. This role is approved to be fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States.
Responsibilities
As an Industrial Turnaround Inside Sales Representative, you will:
Serve as a key support resource for the Outside Sales and Turnaround team by providing accurate quotations, order processing, and personalized customer service
Coordinate directly with turnaround customers, warehouse operations, and on-site personnel to ensure materials and services are delivered on time and accurately
Update customer account information, track job-specific material requirements, and provide responsive communication throughout project timelines
Develop strong working relationships with vendors and suppliers to meet turnaround demands
Assist with project documentation, reporting, and job closeout requirements
Manage customer information through Ferguson's systems and support account needs both in-person and online
Travel to customer sites and branch locations as needed to support turnaround projects and ensure customer satisfaction
Be on-call 24/7 during active turnaround projects to respond immediately to urgent customer orders, delivery needs, and problem resolution. This is a critical function of the role and essential to supporting our customers' operations.
Understand the seasonality of turnarounds: during peak project seasons, extended hours, travel, and urgent support will be required. In between turnarounds, the role focuses on preparation, planning, and supporting ongoing customer needs.
Qualifications
2-3 years of sales or customer support experience is highly preferred
Prior experience with turnarounds, shutdowns, or industrial services is a plus

Strong technical background and experience in water and wastewater.

Ferguson is currently seeking an individual to fill an immediate need for a Sales Support Representative.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Responsibilities
Work together with Sales associates to support customer needs by determining the best products and solutions.
Ensuring the delivery of personalized customer service through timely quotations and accurate sales orders.
Coordinate deliveries on behalf of customers.
Answer sales calls for general information, addressing and resolving customer concerns or questions.
Ability to effectively use customer relationship management (CRM) system and phone system.
Qualifications
1-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience is preferred.
Exhibit strong skills for sales, including the ability to upsell.
Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and ability to make decisions in a timely manner.
Ability to react well in a fast-paced environment & follow through on commitments.
Highly motivated and customer service oriented mentality with ability to build relationships is a plus.
General digital literacy including Microsoft Office.
Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and processes.

This role is a critical position within our business. This associate will report directly to the Industrial Plastics Inside Sales Supervisor with additional direction from the our Industrial Plastics team manager. Ferguson Industrial Southeast is an industrial salesforce comprised of over 300 associates across more than 20 locations.
Ferguson Industrial Southeast has existing Industrial Plastics fabrication facilities in Washington, NC and Lakeland, FL. Ferguson Industrial Southeast also has a fleet of more than 150 rental fusion machines, Certified Master Mechanics and full equipment support for butt fusion, socket fusion & electro-fusion applications. Additionally, Ferguson has a major PP-RCT fabrication facility to support the Southeast along with fusion equipment set up to support the PP-RCT industry.
We are searching for a candidate who has passion & experience selling thermoplastic products and services including HDPE, PP, PP-RCT, PVDF, ECTFE, along with supporting non-corrosive products. This role is crafted for someone that wants to learn about this business through executing in the office for our customer facing team in the field.
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8 am - 5 pm
Pay: expected to start between $20-24 and is based on experience
Responsibilities:
Support outside sales team in the assigned geography for all industrial plastics products.
Work alongside industrial plastics team to create a positive environment working together for our internal customers and external customers.
Strong emphasis on customer service, being comfortable talking on the phone, responding to emails and multitasking.
Depending on geography, ability to travel as needed for training, customer facing when needed and development opportunities.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of inside sales experience
2-3 years of experience in selling Thermoplastic products is preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail
A high level of integrity dealing with problem solving, leadership & listening skills
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Ability to efficiently operate computers, tablets and mobile devices

Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and an assigned customer base, while working with other branch associates to ensure happiness with our products and services, from the order to the delivery and beyond.
* Identifies and actively pursues new business opportunities to expand the current customer base by working with management in developing sales strategies and new account targeting.
* Perform various duties including product quotation and problem resolution.

Job Summary
The Inside Sales Representative supports the day-to-day operations of the Customer Service team in promoting sales, obtaining orders, and providing service to our customers. * Secures pricing from vendors, coordinates deliveries, and expedites deliveries when necessary.
* Effectively processes returns to maximize value.
* Utilizes and continuously develops product and application knowledge and industry best practices to develop solutions to meet customer needs.
* Provides value to customer through the sourcing of material.
* Enhances and grows relationships with customers and suppliers through frequent, meaningful communication.

About the Role:
You will:
Meet or exceed the sales targets established by your Manager.
Work with the Profit Center Manager to establish revenue and margin targets.
Accurately process Sales Orders and Bids generated through telephone sales transactions.
Assist customers who pick up their order at our Profit Center.
Find innovative ways to grow sales with existing customers and become their trusted advisor.
Generate sales leads that develop into new customers.
Identify opportunities for value-added services and articulate our solutions.
Investigate and resolve customer problems, address pricing deductions and material returns timely and in accordance with Company policy and procedure, and follow up to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction.
Support Counter and Outside Sales activities and all Profit Center activities as part of our Profit Center team.
Communicate to the Profit Center Manager and Credit Manager any changes in a customer's business that might cause a credit risk.
Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
About You:
1 year of experience in customer service or inside sales; contractor sales preferred.
Knowledge of products sold in the Profit Center preferred.
Possess a proper and valid driver's license
