Job Purpose or Objective(s): Prepares, seasons and cooks food for usage in eating establishment. You will report to retail management.
Primary Tasks:
Provide food service that meets company standards for ingredient quantity, quality, safety and consistency. Maintain knowledge of all product offerings. Ensure fast service and delicious food.
Prepare food items per menu and recipes mixing and measuring ingredients according to recipe, using variety of ingredients and kitchen tools, utensils and equipment
Adjust thermostat controls to regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, roasters and steam kettles
Clean and sanitize work area and food preparation equipment; wash and dry dishes and other cooking utensils used in preparing food
Store food in designated areas, using knowledge of time and temperature requirements and food spoilage; document temperature readings
You will read food orders or receive verbal instructions as to food required by guests
You will serve meals to guests
You will comply with food and store safety programs and behaviors to minimize employee and guest injury and illness including hand washing, sanitation, food handling/storage and time and temperature controls.
Receive products from venders following correct procedures. Document bad merchandise/write-offs per policy.

Prepare food items per menu and recipes mixing and measuring ingredients according to recipe, using variety of ingredients and kitchen tools, utensils and equipment Adjust thermostat controls to regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, roasters and steam kettles Clean and sanitize work area and food preparation equipment; wash and dry dishes and other cooking utensils used in preparing food Store food in designated areas, using knowledge of time and temperature requirements and food spoilage; document temperature readings You will read food orders or receive verbal instructions as to food required by guests You will serve meals to guests You will comply with food and store safety programs and behaviors to minimize employee and guest injury and illness including hand washing, sanitation, food handling/storage and time and temperature controls. Receive products from venders following correct procedures. Document bad merchandise/write-offs per policy. Other responsibilities as assigned.
