    This is a full-time position working M-F, 8am-4:30pm. The starting pay is $18.57 per hour. Weekly earned wage access is an option for this position. Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will contribute to the success of the department by ensuring the operational readiness of the Fleet Loaner Pool vehicles to serve the needs of different departments. Primary Tasks: You will monitor fleet vehicles are maintained to specific standards for safe operation, overall cleanliness and physical appearance to maintain the image and reputation of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Ensure that each vehicle is compliant with all State of Oklahoma requirements for a valid vehicle registration, valid license tag, verification of insurance certificate. Ensure that each Fleet Loaner Pool vehicle is equipped with mileage logs, a Voyager fuel card and instructions for use, a valid toll tag, a complete vehicle safety kit, and any other equipment by State of Oklahoma Law or Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma policy. Assist Fleet Loaner Pool Vehicle users with main delivery and orientation of procedures for appropriate use of the vehicle. You will transport vehicles to appropriate locations for maintenance, detailing, repairs or other needs as instructed. Transport and delivery of newly purchased Fleet vehicles to the appropriate location. Respond to roadside assistance requests. Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned. Performa maintenance and upkeep of tools and equipment utilized to perform duties. Assist with remolding of offices and buildings located on campus. Perform minor repairs, adjust or replace faucets, showers, commodes, urinals and flushing mechanisms. Verify operation and functionality of all campus lighting. Ensure appearance and safety of all campus areas. Regular attendance is an essential function of this position. The hours are from 7am-4pm, Monday through Friday. Minimum Qualifications: One year experience in HVAC, electrical or related experience. Ability to effectively interpret written and verbal instructions. Heavy lighting up to 50 lbs. and heave carrying up to 50 lbs. Long periods of time spent standing, walking, bending, kneeling and stooping. Ability to reach above head. Ability to climb ladders. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent required. Career Tech certification in Welding or bachelor's degree preferred. Valid 6G welding license from the Oklahoma Department of Labor is required. SKILLS: * Strong knowledge of welding processes (MIG, Stick, TIG) * Ability to deliver instruction to diverse learners, including at-risk individuals * Classroom and shop safety management skills * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to model professionalism and workplace readiness * Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation and student records * Ability to work collaboratively with ODCTE, DOC, and internal staff EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years of verifiable, hands-on welding experience including MIG, Stick, TIG welding processes. Experience working in an industrial, fabrication, construction, or manufacturing environment preferred. Experience maintaining welding equipment, tools, and shop safety protocols preferred. PHYSICAL FACTORS: * Position is based in Enid, OK * Work occurs in an industrial welding environment with exposure to heat, sparks, bright light, welding fumes, metal dust, noise, and moving equipment. Duties may involve intermittent outdoor exposure, temperature fluctuations, and air quality variations typical of welding operations. Appropriate PPE, ventilation, and safety protocols are required. * Physical demands include periods of standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling, reaching, handling, and requires fine motor skills, visual acuity, depth perception, hearing, and hand-eye coordination. * Must be able to work in confined spaces or at heights and lift or move equipment up to 100 pounds. * Perform under stress when confronted with emergency, critical, unusual, or dangerous situations, or situations in which working with speed and sustained attention are critical aspects of the job.
