    Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will obtain payment for goods by scanning items, itemizing, and totaling customer's purchases, count money or change, and balances cash register with transactions. Other responsibilities include cleaning list and assign task sheets. You will report to the Travel Plaza Shift Supervisor, Travel Plaza Shift Manager, or Travel Plaza Store Manager. Location: Durant Pay: $14/hr Schedule: Regular/Part-Time, Flexible Schedule Wage access is an option for this position. Primary Tasks: You will perform proper operation of cash registers and pump according to standard operating procedures. Ensure all purchases are correctly rang into the cash register and recorded. Enter charges for all items, subtract value of discounts, coupons, accept payment of cash, personal check, credit and debit cards. Perform general merchandising tasks including pricing and stocking, bagging ice and placing in the merchandiser, organization of the cooler and stockroom, and replenishing supplies in the deli area. You will perform all assigned task to complete the Operations Checklist and housekeeping tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning both interior and exterior of the Travel Plaza. Ensure that all money is accounted for. Protect all store inventory and equipment from theft and damage. Check identification by transaction Report all violations of rules and regulations to the proper authority. Assist with the physical maintenance and sanitation of the facility by being interactive and hands-on with all cleaning, maintenance, and sanitation procedures. Perform other tasks as assigned.
