MHS is seeking a part-time Custodian to join the Building Services team. The Building Services group pledges to provide a clean and healthy school environment for the students and staff. In addition to overall administrative facilities cleanliness, the department helps with event arrangements, daily operations and maintenance of all campus swimming pools, snow removal, and the summer scheduling of Student Residence building carpet cleaning. The MHS custodians are defined as emergency personnel to support the onsite life-sustaining residential model during weather emergencies.
MHS custodians are responsible to maintain campus buildings as assigned in a neat, clean, and orderly condition, cleaning classrooms, shop areas, hallways, offices, gymnasiums, restrooms, locker rooms, and pool areas; emptying waste baskets and handling trash/recyclable. Also, they may be required to perform minor maintenance, assist in setups for meetings/events, unlock and lock buildings, assist with snow removal, etc.
Work schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 1:30 pm, up to 29 hours per week. This is a bargaining unit position with hourly pay rate: $21.69. Part-time employees are eligible for a retirement savings plan, an employee assistance program (EAP), free lunches when on duty, and Hershey area discounts.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.

Essential Job Functions
Greet guests as they enter the adventure areas
Outfit guest with proper equipment and instruction when needed
Describe and promote available services and classes/lessons
Maintain cleanliness of climbing areas
Give instruction on: top roping, bouldering, lead climbing, and use of auto belay systems
Perform daily equipment and gear inspections
All other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
18 years of age or older
Dependable transportation to and from work
Language skills: Fluent knowledge of the English language; including the ability to read and interpret written information and speak and understand verbal communication

Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years climbing experience

We are seeking a professional who will be a member of our team working with DoD partners. As a carbon free electricity (CFE) and operational energy (OE) SME on our team, you will lead a number of projects, including analysis that informs policy development, provides subject matter expertise to drive decarbonization, and advances energy resilience initiatives across installation and operational energy domains. You may engage in other initiatives as well, such as strategy development, support for Congressional testimony and reporting, and coordination on enterprise-wide sustainability efforts.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Creating renewable electricity buying strategies and conduct analysis of vertically integrated and retail choice electricity markets. You will directly engage with private sector stakeholders and utilities and conduct research, as needed.

+ Interface with DoD and interagency working groups to collaborate on sustainability and energy resilience initiatives.
+ You may assess energy attribute certificates or renewable energy credits and support development of power purchase agreements or utility energy service contracts.

WHAT (Contract Services Needed)
TRACK - Receive and handle all event equipment, including camera gear & marketing assets.
EXECUTION - Set up BallerTV's streaming system (filming equipment) at each court (or field). Move safely, be efficient and maneuver with a sense of urgency throughout your workday.
MONITOR - Ensure each game's stream is steady and consistent. Operate and troubleshoot equipment and technology, maintain communication with the BallerTV team throughout the event.

FLEXIBILITY - This role is a part-time, weekend contractor position. Some events start as early as 6AM and run as late as 10PM. You may be asked to travel up to 40 miles one way.

Please note: Daily Shifts can be over 12 hours long. A weekend tournament (Fri, Sat, Sunday) can be over 30 hours of work. It is not for everyone and requires you to be on your feet and lift heavy objects.
