Hi there!
Here's the problem: AI automation should be everywhere in large companies by now. But it's not. Every department wants it-Sales wants smarter lead routing, Support wants autonomous ticket resolution, Operations needs compliant workflows-but "automate this" turns into six-month engineering projects.
You'll design the solution. We need a Lead Product Designer in our Enterprise Zone who can build the admin consoles, governance frameworks, and AI oversight tools that let enterprises deploy automation across thousands of employees without the chaos. You'll report to Paul Goodwin and work directly with product, engineering, sales, and customer success to shape how major companies adopt and govern automation at scale.
If you want to advance your career at a fast-growing, profitable, impact-driven company, read on…
Our Commitment to Applicants
Culture and Values at Zapier
Zapier Guide to Remote Work
Zapier Code of Conduct
Diversity and Inclusivity at Zapier
About You
Leading across teams and building consensus. You have 7+ years designing for enterprises, with demonstrated experience driving initiatives across multiple product areas, aligning misaligned stakeholders, and partnering with VP-level leadership on product direction. You present to executives, navigate conflicting feedback from sales, engineering, and customer success, and drive alignment when teams disagree.
Platform thinking and setting standards. You see how admin, workspaces, and observability connect-and design systems that work cohesively across all of them. You establish design patterns, governance frameworks, and interaction models that other teams adopt and build on. Your work compounds value across the organization.
Enterprise complexity at scale. You've shipped admin experiences, RBAC systems, audit trails, or compliance features for thousands of users across multiple stakeholder groups (IT, Security, Compliance, end users). You design governance and oversight experiences that help enterprises adopt AI confidently-balancing democratized access with necessary controls, and making complex systems like permissions, provisioning, and IDP mapping intuitive without oversimplifying what power users need.
Things You'll Do
Drive cross-zone design initiatives. Lead work across admin, workspaces, and observability surfaces. Navigate competing team priorities, align misaligned stakeholders, and establish shared direction that serves the platform. Transform requirements from sales conversations, compliance audits, and customer feedback into intuitive workflows that just make sense.
Partner with executive leadership and shape strategy. Present to executive stakeholders, translate business strategy into design direction, and influence company roadmap through research-backed design thinking. Lead cross-functional workshops and facilitate discovery that identifies strategic opportunities others miss.
Define AI governance UX and platform patterns. Design admin workflows, policy management tools, administrative AI agents, and real-time risk detection that give IT leaders confidence at scale. Create design systems and governance frameworks that work for both 500-person startups and 100,000-person enterprises-and that other teams build on.
Coach designers and build team capabilities. Help designers tackle enterprise complexity and level up on what makes enterprise design effective. Share your frameworks broadly and help the team grow.
What You'll Love About This Role
Strategic impact and real influence. Your designs directly drive Zapier's enterprise growth, shape company strategy, and close major deals. You're defining how we think about enterprise design across the company.
Fascinating, career-defining problems. Enterprise AI governance, citizen development models, administrative AI agents, and organizational transformation are genuinely challenging design spaces at the forefront of where work is headed. Help establish industry-leading patterns.
Exceptional collaborators. Partner with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams who care deeply about outcomes and are building something genuinely differentiated.

About You
You're operationally fluent in talent acquisition. You bring 5+ years of experience in recruiting operations, sourcing, HR tech, or a related field. You've managed ATS systems (we use Ashby), rolled out tools with smooth implementation and enablement, and built processes that help teams work smarter.

Pilot and refine AI-enabled sourcing workflows by bringing innovative approaches that empower recruiters to discover and engage talent more effectively in the AI era.
Drive sourcing enablement and recruiter efficiency by optimizing existing workflows across Ashby, Brighthire, Zapier, and other tools, and by building lightweight automations to remove friction from day-to-day recruiting.

Design and implement enablement programs that enhance recruiter excellence, strengthen hiring manager effectiveness, and ensure adoption of new processes.
Use data to guide decisions, tracking impact, hours saved, adoption, and overall efficiency.
Partner with leadership on executing established TA initiatives like promotions, talent brand operations, and vendor management-always staying ahead of industry trends.

Roll up your sleeves to ship automations directly, whether in Zapier, Ashby, ChatGPT, or other tools.

Hi there!
Join us as a Product Manager, Growth (Revenue), and help shape how Zapier grows revenue and retains customers.
Your mission: Uncover and solve revenue blockers to drive customer expansion and retention. You'll run incremental experiments across the customer journey (trial, upsell, churn, renewals), continuously identifying new opportunities and scaling successful tests into permanent improvements.
This role combines strategic prioritization with hands-on execution. You will work with a small, focused engineering team, but you won't always need code; you'll often use manual billing workflows, Zaps, email tools, and AI to test ideas and iterate quickly. You'll validate your hypotheses through A/B tests and customer feedback, then roll out improvements. When foundational work is required, you'll collaborate with feature squads to turn your wins into lasting product changes.
If you love digging into revenue problems, working autonomously with data, and collaborating across teams to run experiments that improve the customer experience, we'd love to meet you.

About You
You have hands-on experience with the revenue lifecycle. You bring 5+ years of product management experience. You understand SaaS or eCommerce metrics and have supported or led experimentation cycles before.
You are a “doer” with a growth mindset. You're comfortable pulling a CSV, fixing a Zap, or drafting your own email copy to unblock the next step.
You already use AI tools and quick prototypes to explore ideas and learn fast. Bonus: you can write simple code (e.g., SQL queries, scripts, or API calls), or are learning to with tools like Cursor.
You put customers first. You enjoy balancing financial goals with doing what's right for the customer and are motivated by making impactful improvements to their experience.
You are resourceful and adaptable. You're attuned to signals that plans need to shift and adjust your approach as new opportunities arise in a fast-changing market.
Things You'll Do
Support the Revenue Zone experimentation practice. Define success metrics, prioritize the experiment backlog, and keep stakeholders aligned on priorities.
Run experiments end-to-end. Own the hypothesis, design, and analysis with engineering support or no-code tools, then turn proven ideas into lasting improvements.
Move fast, learn, and adapt. Form simple hypotheses, validate them quickly, and decide whether to scale, refine, or stop.
Dig into the “why.” Translate customer insights into winning experiments by analyzing feedback and talking to customers about why they cancel or upgrade.
Drive cross-functional execution. You keep experiments moving by coordinating with partners, owning the next step, and anticipating risks.
How to Apply
At Zapier, we believe that diverse perspectives and experiences make us better, which is why we have a non-standard application process designed to promote inclusion and equity. We're looking for the best fit for each of our roles, regardless of the type of companies in your background, so we encourage you to apply even if your skills and experiences don't exactly match the job description. This helps speed things up by letting us get to know you and your skillset a bit better right out of the gate. Please be sure to answer each question; the resume and CV fields are optional.
Education is not a requirement for our roles; however, if you receive an offer, you will need to include your most recent educational experience as part of our background check process.
After you apply, you are going to hear back from us-even if we don't see an immediate fit with our team. In fact, throughout the process, we strive to never go more than seven days without letting you know the status of your application. Staff Applied AI Engineer, AI CapabilitiesAbout The Role
Zapier is hiring a Staff Applied AI Engineer for our AI Capabilities team, the group responsible for building the shared AI execution platform that powers every AI product at Zapier, including Agents, Chatbots, AI by Zapier, and future orchestration experiences.
This is one of the most foundational engineering roles at Zapier today.
AI Capabilities is unifying the runtimes, tooling, data models, and orchestration layers behind our AI products into a single, reliable, high-quality platform with great ergonomics. We're building what Zapier's AI foundation
should have been from day one
-and we're delivering it in a way that accelerates all other AI teams.
As the Staff Applied AI Engineer on this team, you'll bring deep technical expertise in LLMs, orchestration, evaluation, runtime systems, and platform engineering. You'll help shape our unified architecture, guide tough tradeoffs, elevate our engineering standards, and ensure the platform is scalable, safe, cost-efficient, and easy to build on.
If you want to work on hard AI platform problems that directly impact user-facing products-and you're energized by building the foundation that other AI-focused teams and millions of users will rely on-you'll thrive here.
Why this is different (and exciting)
This is a rare opportunity to help build the AI platform behind one of the world's largest automation ecosystems. The AI Capabilities team empowers every runtime AI product at Zapier; Agents, Chatbots, AI by Zapier, and the orchestration surfaces yet to come.
You'll work on challenges that matter: making AI reliable, fast, safe, cost-efficient, and easy to build on. Your work will enable product teams to ship smarter features faster, and you'll see your impact reflected directly in the experiences our customers use to run their businesses.
If you're excited about high-leverage engineering work that blends platform design, system architecture, and applied AI, this role gives you a front-row seat to shape how intelligent automation gets built at scale.
About You
Proven engineering impact: You've driven outcomes in complex, cloud-based systems used by real customers. Bonus: you've helped win or expand enterprise deals-leading POCs, navigating security/compliance reviews, or shaping product requirements to land enterprise adoption. Many strong candidates for our Staff roles have 10+ years' experience. We hire for impact and capability, not years.
LLM expertise: You have at least 2 years or equivalent depth of hands-on work with large language models in production, including user-facing products leveraging agent architectures. You are familiar with transformer networks, attention mechanisms, and their role in generating responses, function calls, and other complex tasks.
Evaluation & retrieval systems: You have direct experience deploying evaluation frameworks for LLMs (performance, reliability, bias) and building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems. You have nuanced perspectives and experience with indexing/chunking strategies, semantic search, and vector databases, and how they differ from traditional retrieval methods.
Builder first: You lead through hands-on contribution-pairing with product teams, unblocking adoption, modeling best practices, and shipping. You execute, not just advise.
Pragmatic judgment over novelty: You separate signal from hype. You're comfortable saying “not ready for production” (and explaining why), and you partner with product to decide when to keep exploring vs. when to lock down, standardize, and scale-using results from evals, user impact, and clear cost/latency tradeoffs.
You design for scale and ambiguity. You can design systems and solutions in complex, high-scale environments-where priorities are fluid and ambiguity is the norm.
Skilled communicator: You're known for moving fluidly between pair programming, cross functional problem-solving, and customer discovery. You evaluate long vs. short-term solutions through the lens of speed to impact and cohesion of customer experience. You form trusting relationships and know how to bring others with you.
You are an AI power user. You proactively embrace AI as a core part of your engineering toolkit and are excited to explore new ways it can accelerate learning, development, and operations. You don't just use AI-you advocate for it, sharing your workflows and helping others level up.
Things You'll Do
Lead key architectural efforts in our unified AI platform: You'll help define the orchestrator architecture, shared runtime components, and foundational APIs that bring Chatbots, Agents, AI by Zapier, and future experiences onto one high-quality platform.
Guide high-impact technical decisions across AI Capabilities: You'll influence choices around orchestration patterns, execution flows, shared tools, memory, safety, and data model design.
Provide technical oversight as we consolidate runtimes: You'll help navigate the merging of multiple systems into a single orchestrator; balancing reliability, speed, safety, and developer ergonomics.
Partner deeply with product teams across the AI org: You'll work closely with Agents, Chatbots, AI Tasks, Copilot, and Chat surfaces to support migrations, define interfaces, and translate product needs into platform capabilities.
Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar for AI Capabilities: You'll share patterns, teach practical AI engineering, and help grow the platform engineering culture on the teams you work with.
Work Hours & Collaboration Expectations
This role is open to candidates globally. Because the majority of our stakeholders, partner teams, and decision-makers are based in North America, this role requires working standard Eastern Time (ET) hours at least three days per week to support real-time collaboration, technical reviews, and cross-functional decision-making.
Outside of those days, you may set your own working hours, provided they support the needs of your team and comply with local labor regulations. We're committed to ensuring this schedule is sustainable and will partner with you during the hiring process to assess feasibility based on your location.

Hi there!
Zapier is building the world's first AI orchestration platform - one that connects tools, data, and humans into automated systems that work for you. As businesses race to integrate AI into their workflows, they face a new kind of challenge: making all their tools and AI agents talk to each other, reliably and at scale. That's where Zapier comes in.
We're looking for high-impact individuals with deep experience in AI and automation - especially those coming from consulting, systems integration, or platform strategy roles. You may not have traditional go-to-market (GTM) experience, but you know how to turn AI into business outcomes. We'll work with you to shape your impact across our GTM team - whether that's Customer Success, Solutions Architecture, Account Executive, or Technical Account Management.
If you're excited to help customers adopt, integrate, and scale AI using Zapier's orchestration layer, we want to hear from you.
For this role, we're targeting candidates in the Americas.
Why This Role Is Different
Zapier is no longer just a no-code automation tool - we're the connective tissue of modern AI systems. Our platform orchestrates over 8,000 apps, tools, and APIs, enabling companies to deploy AI in powerful, scalable ways - without rebuilding their stack. As we evolve into an AI orchestration platform, we need forward-thinking GTM teammates who understand this emerging landscape and can help our customers navigate it.

About You
You deliver exceptional results in all you do.
You've been in high-impact roles where you've consistently been a top performer. Perhaps you've been in the trenches at a startup, worked on enterprise transformations at a top consulting firm, or navigated the chaos of investment banking. You've built a track record of solving hard problems, delivering results, and operating in fast-paced, high-stakes environments that will translate well into go-to-market work.
You're a builder at heart.
You love to get deep into complex systems - both ours and our customers - to marry their business problems with our platform solutions. You thrive when you get to come up with audacious ideas, execute them, and make them better over time.
You're eager to move into a GTM role, or grow within one.
Maybe this is your first customer-facing role, or maybe you've done light GTM work alongside technical delivery. Perhaps you're a founder and longtime Zapier customer ready to evangelize full time - or a management consultant eager to shift from strategy to execution.
No matter your starting point, you're ready to build relationships, solve problems, and drive outcomes at the core of the revenue organization.
You thrive in ambiguity and chase meaningful impact.
This isn't a one-size-fits-all job. We'll align the role to your experience and where you can make the biggest difference - whether that's onboarding AI-native customers, architecting enterprise solutions, or enabling GTM teams on technical workflows.
You bring a strong AI and automation background.
You've helped organizations adopt LLMs, automate workflows, or design AI systems that improve efficiency and insight. You might come from a top consulting firm, a platform strategy role, or a tech-forward operations team.
A Few Paths This Role Might Take
Depending on your skills and interests, we've got a few critical areas we're looking to attack today and more emerging every month. Our discussion could branch into interview tracks focused on:

How This Process Works
We know the best candidates might not have a “standard” resume. Here's what to expect:
In your application, tell us about your background and what makes you a unique candidate aligned to challenges like adding SLG into historically PLG companies, scaling a revenue organization, or blazing new trails with unconventional approaches. In particular, we'd love to hear about how you've applied AI or automation to solve business problems.
We review applications on a rolling basis - please note that we may not consistently meet our 7-day commitment to candidates with this opportunity.
If there's a potential fit, you'll meet with members of our GTM team to explore where your skills align.
All we ask is that you answer a few in-depth questions in our application that would typically be asked at the start of an interview process.
We know we'll make mistakes from time to time, so if you ever have questions about where you stand or about the process, just ask your recruiter!
Zapier is an equal-opportunity employer and we're excited to work with talented and empathetic people of all identities. Zapier does not discriminate based on someone's identity in any aspect of hiring or employment as required by law and in line with our commitment to Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging and Equity. If you thrive on the intersection of design and engineering-turning pixels and prototypes into production-quality, accessible, and maintainable interfaces-this role is for you:
Build experiences used by millions of users worldwide

Demonstrated ability to translate Figma (or similar) design systems into scalable, production-ready component libraries
A keen eye for visual polish, interaction detail, and animation quality

Familiarity with design tokens, component theming, and responsive layout systems
Experience designing and implementing UI for complex, stateful workflows or builder-style products
Experience documenting patterns, components, and motion guidelines for shared use
A track record of tight collaboration with Product Designers to maintain high design fidelity
Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-evolving problem spaces where patterns are still being defined
Strong interest in the leading edges of AI-assisted product experiences, including conversational and guided workflows
(Very nice to have) Experience shipping AI-powered features in production, including consideration for trust, failure states, and iteration
(Nice to have) Comfort with lightweight backend integration or prototyping tools (e.g., Next.js, Storybook, or Framer)
Curiosity and craft-someone who obsesses over the small details that make big differences
A mindset of continuous improvement-across tools, process, and personal growth

Hi there!
Zapier is looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Developer Impact team, part of the Zapier Internal Platforms zone. We're on a mission to make everyone more productive through the power of automation, and that includes our own engineers. Zapier has helped millions of people build businesses through automation. Now, we're focused on giving our developers equally powerful tools and processes so they can build the future of automation with velocity and confidence.
About the Developer Impact Team
The Developer Impact team boosts the effectiveness and velocity of Zapier's engineering organization by improving developer workflows, tooling, and processes - with a strong focus on AI-powered developer experiences and cutting-edge productivity tooling. We're not a traditional DevEx team. We take a hypothesis-driven, experimental approach, dogfooding lightweight solutions, measuring their impact, and rapidly iterating. We aim to eliminate friction across the software development lifecycle, partnering closely with other platform and product engineering teams to create a seamless, high-velocity developer impact.
If you're passionate about high-leverage, internal platform work and love experimenting with how AI and automation can transform how developers build software, you'll thrive here.
You'll Love This Role If
You get energy from improving how engineers work - not just what they build.
You enjoy building high-leverage tools that multiply impact across dozens of teams.
You're passionate about using AI to push the boundaries of developer productivity.
You thrive in a collaborative, experimentation-driven environment where learning fast matters as much as shipping fast.
About You
You're a Full-Stack builder: You have 6+ years of professional software development experience (including 2+ years in a senior or tech lead role) and experience with Python and Typescript. You're strengths are in building resilient backend services and APIs as well as responsive, but you know how to build intuitive frontend interfaces using modern frameworks.
You have a Developer Platform Mindset: You've built tools, frameworks, or infrastructure that other developers rely on daily. You think about developer workflows holistically - from local dev to CI/CD - and you design for scalability and maintainability.
You're Savvy and using AI Developer Tools: You're familiar with AI-assisted development. You've worked with AI pair programmers, code review bots, or ML-driven CI optimization. You're eager to explore practical, measurable ways AI can improve engineering velocity.
You're Experimentation & Impact Focused: You thrive in a fast-moving environment that values experimentation. You use data and feedback to validate ideas and iterate quickly. You see “failure” as a learning opportunity.
You're Collaborative Builder: You work closely with engineers across platform and product engineering teams to identify pain points and co-create solutions. You treat engineers as your customers and focus on delivering tangible improvements to their experience.
You Care About Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: You write great documentation, share best practices, and raise the bar for engineering excellence. You care as much about improving team workflows as you do about shipping code.
You're a Strong Systems Thinker: You understand how decisions in CI/CD, testing, infrastructure, or local dev environments ripple through the broader engineering ecosystem.
Things You'll Do
Build Internal Developer Tools & Platforms: Design, develop, and maintain internal products that improve developer productivity and flow. You'll build across the stack - from command-line utilities and IDE extensions to web dashboards and APIs that streamline development workflows.
Integrate AI into Developer Workflows: Build and integrate AI-powered experiences that augment how engineers build, test, and deploy software.
Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Partner with engineers across the company to understand friction points in their workflows. Conduct interviews, shadow developers, and gather feedback to inform priorities. You'll balance solving immediate pain with building scalable solutions.
Create and Evolve Golden Paths: Help define and promote standard, high-velocity development patterns. Maintain service templates, example apps, and internal frameworks that guide engineers toward best practices.
Enhance CI/CD and Developer Workflows: Partner with DevOps and Reliability teams to improve how code moves from laptop to production. You might optimize build caching, implement smarter test runners, or integrate automated quality checks into CI.
Dogfood, Measure, and Iterate: Use the tools you build. Gather both quantitative metrics (e.g., build time, deploy frequency) and qualitative feedback to assess impact and guide iteration.
Contribute to Developer Documentation: Maintain clear, discoverable guides for internal tools, frameworks, and best practices - ensuring engineers can quickly get up to speed and stay unblocked.
Mentor and Influence: Lead by example through thoughtful code reviews, internal talks, and knowledge sharing. Help shape the technical direction of the team and contribute to its roadmap.
