What We're Looking For:
At least 1 year of experience as an automotive technician, preferably in a dealership setting
Land Rover experience is a plus

Complete all required documentation and follow dealership and regulatory procedures
Attend training, meetings, and educational sessions as needed

Responsibilities
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
5+ years of Service Technician experience required
Certified Hyundai Technician
ASE Certification required
A level qualification, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
Excellent customer service skills
Basic Computer skills

JOB PURPOSE
is responsible for the flow and supply of recycled parts for customers.
LEVEL OF AUTHORITY
Performs routine duties independently in accordance with established policies and procedures.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Most of the work is performed in an industrial shop or outdoor yard environment. The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work area is normally moderate, however it may increase while on site. This position requires proper PPE including safety shoes and hearing protection.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for the efficient flow and distribution of calls and work orders.
Responsible for the teardown of tractors and various components.
Repairs equipment for sales and company use.
Mark and label all parts leaving the area.
Troubleshoot used parts problems; make recommendations on switch out of combine and tractor parts and recommend substitutions
Knowledge of parts numbers and all parts locations
Works with the Supervisor to get input and suggestions before proceeding with questionable used parts.
Removes used equipment parts as needed, determines part quality and understands customer needs.
Works Lost Sales on used parts.
May be required to assist in load and transport of purchased equipment.
Works with the shipping department to ensure timely shipment of used parts.
Attends all company training, employee meetings or other events as directed by management.
Follows all departmental procedures and policies. Recommends changes to procedures for supervisor approval.
Follows all safety rules and regulations; keeps work environment clean and free of hazard
QUALIFICATIONS AND CAPABILITIES

Technical
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Knowledge of agricultural equipment preferred.
