The Role We are hiring teachers to teach virtual small-group sessions during school, after school, and over the summer. You will develop caring relationships with the children you teach, helping them grow and succeed as readers. You will provide weekly updates to school and home stakeholders, building a community of care around each child. Schedule We are currently hiring for the following teaching schedules: 2025-2026 School Year: Classes beginning as early as September and as late as November. Classes are 45-60 minutes per day, Monday through Friday, mostly during the school day, with SOME after-school availability in the Pacific time zone. Commitments Participation in multiple days of program training. You are paid for this time. During the school year, between 1 and 4 hours of teaching per day, 3 to 5 days per week, over the course of the school year. Fingerprinting and background check. Weekly completion of instructional tracking reports and student updates. Participation in regular staff meetings. Training and professional development Before teaching, you will receive training in the program you are assigned to teach. You may receive training on multiple programs. Before teaching you will also receive training in areas such as models of development, dyslexia, child & adolescent reading development, etc. During the course of instruction, you will have the opportunity to participate in a mix of mentor observations, peer observations, office hours, and student case management discussions.
