THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
- MUST HAVE 5+ years of experience as a remodeling carpenter (not Commercial work)
- Experience in Framing, Plumbing, Electrical and Finish Carpentry. (Tile installation is a plus)
- Have a valid California Driver's License and own transportation to/from jobs
- Possess a great attitude, have pride in your workmanship, be willing to learn
- Be safety-minded in all that you do
- Possess excellent customer service skills and respect the customers property
- Be able to lead a job or work as part of a team with a crew

The Construction Core team supports all of Haskell's delivery groups across the company and the projects throughout the United States. C-core is responsible for providing the field management personnel starting with the craft worker to the Project Superintendent. C-Core also provides the team member with logistical support; including but not limited to establishing per diem rates, company trucks for superintendents, and the coordination of arrival for team members as needed on the project. C-Core provides continual training for our team members to support their development from entry-level craft workers, via in-house/online courses, to local jurisdiction apprenticeship programs. Haskell assists with working your way up through the ranks, you'll find new ways to use both your mind and your hands to get the job done.
Joining Construction Core will enable you to build the buildings on which people depend; collaborating with your team to overcome obstacles and fix problems on the jobsite using your skills. Strong networks are formed on construction projects because everyone on the team depends on each and every team member to get the job done.
In this role, you will construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard using the carpenter's hand tools and power tools while conforming to local building codes. You will read and interpret construction documents to find information related to the project. Other duties may include installing concrete reinforcement, connection embeds, use of multiple form systems, trim work, door, and hardware installation.
