Assists as necessary with the installation, testing, and acceptance of new or modified containerized cargo handling equipment. Train and mentor trainees Perform assigned tasks in compliance with applicable safety, hazardous material, and environmental policies, rules, and regulations. Document all work activities performed in a timely and accurate manner. Complete all payroll-related records in a timely and proper manner. Observe all SCPA safety practices and procedures. Practice good housekeeping both during and at the completion of all tasks. The Electrician position, under limited direction, is responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls.
