While reporting to the Maintenance department manager as the Electrician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in support of production operations.
What You'll Be Doing:
Install all electrical segments in such equipment as gas mixers, burners, de-ionized water units, air compressors, plant air circulation systems, cooling and heating units, ultra sonic cleaners, waxers and plant lighting.
Troubleshoot, adjust and repairs all electrical equipment, solid state circuits, circuit boards, components, logic boards, transducers, amplifiers, and complex timing and inspection devices.
Perform preventative maintenance on assigned electrical systems and equipment.
Identify inefficiencies and potential electrical problems and coordinate through supervisor to resolve.
Program logic controls (PLC) for proper equipment operation.
May assist in the design, experimentation, and/or installation of all new plant equipment or electrical production procedures.
Establish and maintain effective work relationships within the department, the division, the group, and the company. Includes ability to handle stress and to interact with others so as to establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment and minimize personal conflicts.
Ability to communicate effectively, write effectively, read, comprehend and follow complicated verbal and written instructions.
Assure and maintain safe and healthful working conditions while enforcing safety rules and regulations.
Must be able to work overtime if needed

You have broad training in a related field usually acquired through Associate's Degree or through equivalent electronics work experience.
You have job related experience for 3-5 year(s) minimum.
You are experienced with PLC programming & troubleshooting, HMI and industrial electrical networking.
You have working knowledge of the following areas: all assigned equipment, bulpameter, solid state circuitry, electronics, electrical-mechanical devices, transmission systems, interface units, AC/DC motors, high-voltage motors, wiring diagrams and schematics, Signode strapper, video jet, Allen Bradley and Siemen's PLC's, computers, and inspection and digital devices.
You have knowledge of hazardous material handling, working in confined spaces and other safety practices, and basic knowledge of national electrical code (NEC).
You have a thorough understanding of the operating principles of all assigned equipment, i.e., electrical test equipment, hand tools, etc. and the ability to use logic to troubleshoot equipment.

Essential Functions:
Performs routine maintenance requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles, specifications and standards, properties of materials and principles of operation of electrical equipment.
Installs electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems in rotor wing aircraft.
Identifies causes of operating errors, considers the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
Uses hand tools, power tools and a soldering iron to perform a variety of avionics tasks.
Assembles components, such as switches, electrical controls, and junction boxes.
Connects components to assemblies, such as radio systems, instruments, generators, and inverters.
Tests components, assemblies or processes to evaluate quality or performance, usually with the assistance of a circuit tester and multi-meter.
Adjusts, repairs, or replaces malfunctioning components or assemblies.
Lays out installation of assemblies and systems in aircraft, according to blue prints and wiring diagrams.
Sets up and operates ground support and test equipment to perform functional test of electrical and electronic systems.
Analyzes circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, service or replace electronic devices and systems.
Assembles, routes and clamps electrical cables and wire harnesses on aircraft.
Strips wiring, crimps and solders pins, inserts pins and installs connectors on electrical cables.

Success Factors:
Knowledge of basic aircraft systems, test equipment, tools, standards and specifications.
Glass Cockpit integration and troubleshooting a plus.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Completion of military technical training or comparable civilian trade school is desired. An A&P license is preferred. The employee must be certified to perform tasks specified in Carson Helicopters Repair Station Manual, if required to perform those tasks. Employee may be required to be licensed by Federal Aviation Administration.
Two (2) or more years' experience troubleshooting and effecting Avionics repairs on Military or Commercial aircraft, rotor wing craft preferred.
UH60 or S61 experience helpful.
FAA Drug and Alcohol program participation required.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced residential electrician to join our growing company. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience working for a residential electrical contractor that specializes in new home wiring.
For us, having an organized and predictable system for wiring new homes is a competitive advantage. We provide comprehensive training for all field staff under the direction of a dedicated, full time training coordinator.
As an Experienced Residential Electrician you will:
rough wire new homes according to the BCEW paperwork package and applicable NEC and IRC codes
complete final phase installations and troubleshoot non-operational equipment
document incomplete ‘To Do List' items on the BCEW Portal
order material required to complete tasks using the material request application on the BCEW Portal
perform warranty repairs according to BCEW work orders
Requirements
We're looking for a candidate with significant residential experience who is looking to take the next step in their career with a professional organization.
You must be:
Experienced, meaning you can complete all phases of new residential work in compliance with all applicable codes.
Team oriented with a desire to succeed both individually and as part of a growing company
Capable of passing a pre-employment drug screen and maintain a current driver's license
You should have:
Worked on large housing projects for production home builders
Graduated from a electrical trade school or technical training program
