We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Manufacturing-Industrial Electrician to join our operations team. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing or industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, control systems, and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and schematics.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery to minimize downtime.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and other automation systems.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and other safety standards.
Collaborate with engineers, maintenance staff, and production teams to support operational goals.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on tasks.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred.
Certifications:
Valid State Electrician License (Journeyman or Master, depending on state requirements).
OSHA 10 or 30 Certification preferred.
NFPA 70E Certification is a plus.
Certification in PLC programming or industrial automation is advantageous. Preferred.
Experience:
• Minimum 10 years of experience as an industrial or manufacturing electrician.
• Experience with 480V systems, motor controls, and industrial automation.
Skills and Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory and industrial electrical systems.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipment.

The salary range for this position is $45-$55 per hour. Duties & Responsibilities:

Monitor electrical systems on a routine basis for problems or abnormalities, when identified notify supervisor, analyze causes, suggest possible solutions, performing corrective action as authorized.
Troubleshoot, diagnoses and repair the below shore based electrical circuits across various equipment types, ensuring conformance to applicable local and/or National Electrical Codes (NEC):
Install and connect wiring via control panels, and junction boxes.
Install new fuses, electrical cables, terminal boxes, switches, lighting or power sources as required, locate and remove or repair circuit defects such as blown fuses.
Adjust, repair, or replace defective wiring, relays, safety switches and/or interlocks.
Remove, reassemble, reinstall and test circuits of various pump types, capstans/winches/windlass, towing array equipment and slew motors subsequent to repairs.
Perform electrical equipment operational checks prior to and/or subsequent to dock operations as required.
Perform electrical operational checks subsequent to equipment repairs, changeouts or extended downtime.
Perform preventive maintenance checks as required, reporting any deficiencies to the supervisor.
Comply with applicable PPE requirements, to include Lockout-Tag-out procedures as required for work being performed.
Be available to perform overtime duties as required for pre-docking, docking and undocking, as these evolutions typically take place during the night.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 4 years of Navy/Maritime industry work-related experience as a Navy Electrician (EM) or Naval Shipyard Electrician.
Hold current, or ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance.
Knowledge of electrical theory and thorough understanding of techniques, materials, tools and equipment used in the electrical trade.

Purpose and Scope: The Electrician is responsible for building, testing and maintaining AC and DC power systems. They troubleshoot power plant, transformer and generator systems, diagnose customer alarms, remove and install various battery systems and utilize preventative maintenance skills.
Responsibilities:
Ensures all required paperwork is submitted to complete jobs daily.
Ensures safe transportation of personnel and material to and from remote job sites daily.
Ensures all Federal, State and local laws are followed at all times.
Ensures compliance with both company and customer policies at all times.
Installs, troubleshoots and removes battery power systems, batteries, A panels, transformers, generators, alarms and various interconnect/transport equipment.
Performs preventative maintenance, as required.
All other duties as required.
Skills / Other:
Basic time management and organizational skills required.
Computer Networking experience.
Schedule flexibility
Able to travel (locally).
Experience:
Minimum 7-10 year of experience, strongly preferred.
Pay: $30 - $40/hr
