Your Impact We are searching for a skilled and motivated EV Charging Field Service Electrician. This key role is responsible for the onsite repair and maintenance of EV charging stations in a specific geographic region, including but not limited to site safety, electrical system maintenance/repair, site field reports, and other duties as required to properly maintain and operate the site within the contractual requirements. This role must be able to work independently with little to no supervision and will be required to work in the field under various conditions. Core Responsibilities Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades/ revisions to a broad range of equipment, ranging from Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers to DC Fast Chargers. Perform testing on equipment, including but not limited to; insulation testing (megger testing), thermal imagery, torque tests, and performance evaluations. Troubleshoot system performance issues and locate/isolate ground faults. Work closely with the Planning and Scheduling team to ensure maintenance schedules are adhered to and work orders are completed accurately and on time. Review site manuals and drawings to ensure proper service and maintenance of equipment. In fieldwork including electrical and mechanical preventative and corrective maintenance of site equipment, site field reporting, work order completion, and other work as needed. Ensure that all issues at the site are documented in the work order system and are addressed in a timely manner. Technical knowledge of Electric Vehicle (EV)chargers, solar power installations, or other applicable power electronics is preferred, but not required. Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to generate, track, and complete site work requirements. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Ability to analyze and resolve problems independently with a high level of results orientation. About The Role Technicians are responsible for providing a high quality experience for all clients using Electrik Pros and they do so by ensuring that all installations, repairs and maintenance are completed with high quality care in Commercial Services. Technicians also ensure that they provide an incredible customer experience by communicating any project updates or key findings to clients with utmost professionalism. What You'll Do Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in accordance with National Electric Code. Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation. Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards. Provide estimates to clients based on your findings. Communicate any issues to clients, and discuss payment options and scheduling. Record all payments and costs for company databases. What You'll Need 3+ years of commercial and residential electrical experience. Knowledge of current NEC as it relates to commercial electrical systems. Valid driver's license. Strong English verbal and written communication skills. Spanish verbal and written communication skills are an asset. Professionals within the electrical service industry. Self driven history and desire for advancement. Desire to go beyond expectations.
