What You Will Do:
Ensure operation of company equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC, for process and facility

Education:

Ensures the work of the team, including accuracy of modeling matches submittals, conduit type matches specifications, compliance with codes, and overall adherence to project specifications.
Develops and maintains BIM standards, directly or indirectly, including modeling, coordination, annotation, prefab, deliverable and template creation, for the team and the company.
Enforces consistency and quality of work following the established standards.
Stays up-to-date on emerging technologies and design tools, maintains knowledge on opportunities for integrating storage and sharing processes, and looks for opportunities for greater efficiencies and workflows.
Escalates critical and/or sensitive issues to the Division Manager / Executive Team with recommendations for resolution.
Complies with all Company operating policies, procedures, and safety programs as established.

Location/Travel: This position will require travel in/around Sioux Center, IA - up to/within a 200-mile radius. Tri-City Group is seeking Construction Electricians for Davenport, IA. The Construction Electrician will complete electrical installations and must be able to understand and follow safety regulations.
Main duties include but are not limited to:
material handling
basic wiring
pulling cable
bending conduit
installation of lighting and electrical components
Starting wages will be between $13.20-$26.40/hr based on previous experience and skill level. Health and retirement benefits are also provided above and beyond the hourly wage.
Qualifications:
Experienced in Commercial Electrical or Electrical Journeyman - Completed JATC Electrical Apprenticeship
Mechanical aptitude, the ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail, be highly motivated, and have experience working with hand tools. Previous experience in the electrical industry is a plus.
Candidates should be able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively

Perform electrical rough ins and trims on homes throughout central Iowa. Install wiring within residential dwellings prior to drywall installation. Install devices and fixtures after drywall finish for electrical trim.
Lead Electrician: Perform rough ins and or trims. Responsibilites include guiding and teaching less experienced helpers and apprentices. Ordering proper materials to complete the project. Meeting with builder/owner onsite when necessary.
Apprentice Electrician: Our electricians go through a 4 year program to earn their Journeyman electrician cards and in some cases can earn their residential license in 3 years. Schooling is typically done online while on the job training for the physical portion. We can transer your current or previous level status into our program for most accredited electrical spprenticship schooling per state Fire Marshals guidlines. We are an Assosiated Builders and Contractors (ABC) member. Openings for this posistion are limited so we encourage to apply and check back every 6 months.
Apprentices and helpers primarily assist new construction and remodel electricians. However at times may assist service electricians depending on job needs.
