Job Responsibilities:
As a Master Electrician:
In addition to the Journeyman responsibilities listed below, the Master Electrician will supervise and approve all electrical work done by electricians and journeymen.
Responsible for signing for all electrical work in the facility.
As a Journeyman Electrician:
Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical systems, computers, building and machinery. This should include 480V 3 phase power as well as control systems.
Working knowledge of AC and DC power supplies, 3 phase, single phase, generators, PLC and electronic equipment.
Working knowledge and use of electronic or electrical testing equipment.
Work from and maintain electrical drawings, schematic and prints.

General Electrics
* Hang, focus, strike and occasionally maintain lighting rig for Guthrie productions under the Head of Lighting and Projections' direction.

* Monitor inventory levels, reporting low inventory items to Head of Lighting and Projections as needed.
* Restore tools and equipment to the proper location when no longer in use.

Rigging and Safety
* Primary oversight for rigging and safety within the lighting department.

* Responsible for rigging lighting positions, focus tracks, pipes and hanging points from heights for lighting ladders, booms and temporary positions.

* Significant demonstrated experience in theatrical lighting for the performing arts and live events. ETCP Electrics, Power Distribution or Rigging certification desirable.
