Description:The Payload Launch Sites Support Services (PLSSS) Program within SSC provides all the launch processing support functions for the Office of Space Launch (OSL). One of the program's two primary operating locations is Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL. Key elements of the PLSSS program scope include satellite launch processing, satellite transport operations, satellite propellant loading operations, clean room operations, satellite processing and support facilities O&M, and safety and environmental services. Basic Qualifications: * The Electrician Technician is responsible for installs, maintains and repairs electrical wiring systems, related switches, distribution panels and outlet boxes, as well as a wide variety of electrical fixtures. * Test circuits and equipment by use of voltmeter, ammeter, wattmeter, and ohmmeter. * Electrical circuits include voltage up to 600 volts, 3-phase current. * Measures, cuts, threads, bends, assembles, and installs conduits, inserts, splicing and connecting wires to fixtures, outlets, switches, receptacles, and power source. * Ability to lift 45lbs. * Ability to climb multiple flights of stairs. We are seeking a Industrial Maintenance Electrician Technician (FIRST SHIFT) to join our team! You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, performing routine maintenance, fixing any faulty wiring, and maintaining production and facility equipment. Work is performed in a production environment which requires exposure to all temperature changes, high noise levels, working around moving equipment, vibrations, dust, etc. Working hours will be a set schedule but must be flexible with working extended hours when required.
