Campbell Soup Supply Company located in Stockton, CA has an immediate job opening for a Mechanic in our tomato processing facility. This is a full-time position with seasonal overtime work required. Successful candidates will have advanced experience with steam systems, steam turbines, evaporator processes and gas fired boilers. In addition, the candidate will have mechanical experience on pumps, motors, gearboxes, etc.
Maintenance staff team members do various types of work under minimal supervision including trouble shooting and maintaining food processing equipment, production lines and personnel supervision for large scale manufacturing. In addition, they will assist in all preventative maintenance activities in their assigned area by utilizing technical skills and a team approach to problem solving. Team members are responsible for meeting production goals and making sure all aspects of compliance are being met in the areas of safety and quality.
1) Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and overhaul the plant's mechanical equipment. Knowledge and skills requires, but not limited to, the following:
a) Shafts, keys and keyways, pins, and shaft couplings. Understand strengths and limitations of each.
b) Chains and sprockets, chain and sprocket operation, strengths and limitations.
c) Gears and gear ratios; be able to calculate speed
d) Plain, ball, roller, thrust, liner and guide bearings. Bearing mounts and mounting techniques, inspection, care and replacement. Analyze bearing failure and determine probable cause(s).
e) Lubrication. Types of lubricants, viscosity classifications, methods of lubrication and the proper storage, handling, and disposal of lubricants.
2) Troubleshoot to the component level, research manufacturers' manuals and data, identify replacement parts and properly requisition replacement parts and assembles through the plant's logistics system.
a) Use of manuals, checklist, schematics, blueprints, test equipment and other diagnostic tools
b) Interviewing production operators, co-workers, supervisors and managers about equipment symptoms and failure.
c) Logical use of troubleshooting method.
3) Observe equipment in operation and detect problems through sight or sound
a) Maintain familiarity of normal day-to-day equipment operation
b) Can operate the equipment so that pre-flight tests can be conducted
c) Recognize the failure symptoms of bearings, V-belt, gears, couplings, etc.
4) Care and operation of hand tools, drill press, sanders and grinders, band saws, torque wrench, etc. Must be able to use measurement devices such as a micrometer, Vernier caliper, tape measures, etc. Experience with the care and use of laser alignment tools for coupling alignments.
a) Make measurements with micrometers, scales, etc. and use mathematical equations to determine differences in readings. Scale measurements from blueprints
b) Understand designed use of and limitations of all types of mechanical tools. Practice safe use of tools. (I.E., not rounding nuts and bolt heads, cleaning and protection precision measuring devices squaring grinding wheels, etc.)
5) Pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and steam . Knowledge requires, but not limited to, the following: Understand the properties, uses, measurement devices, and lockout requirements for pneumatic. Hydraulic, steam and electrical systems
a) Pneumatic systems:
i) Shut-off valves, pressure regulator, pressure gauge, lubricators, hose coupling, and the hose.
ii) Safety rules and lock-out procedures for pneumatic systems
b) Steam systems and high speed rotating equipment
i) Maintenance of steam valves, pressure reducing valves, condensate traps, etc.
ii) Safety rules and lock-out procedures for steam systems.
c) Electrical systems:
i) Basic elements of electricity (resistance, current and voltage), circuit protection devices (fuses, circuit breakers, etc.), properties of insulation and conductors, switched, solenoids and relays
ii) Safety rules and lock-out procedures for electrical systems
6) Gas weld (oxyacetylene and torch brazing) and arc weld (stick (shielded metal-arc), MIG (metal inert gas), and TIG (tungsten inert gas) as well as oxyacetylene cutting torch.
a) Arc welding
i) Proper use and safety of the arc welding outfit. Understand the principles and safety precautions required when using D-C welding currents
ii) Proper selection of electrodes, arc voltage and welding currents
b) Welding safety
i) Wearing proper personal protection (welding googles, gloves, cap, long-sleeved shirt, etc.)
ii) Properly processing the plant-welding permit, use of welding screens, fire extinguishers, implementing fire watch, etc.
c) Gas cutting torch
i) Proper use and safety of the oxyacetylene cutting outfit (cylinders, pressure regulators, pressure gages, hoses, torch and torch tip)
ii) Proper flame adjustment.

About the Position
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in manufacturing facility
* Maintain all components required to control machinery, including switches, sensors, programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, and operate interface units
* Recognize and effectively identify hazards and correct electrical defects
* Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical systems and equipment
* Inspect and maintain motors, switches, junction boxes, switch panels, circuit breakers, transformers, fuse panels, and lighting
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical installations
* Install electrical conduit and pull wire
* Maintain efficiency and safety of all plant electrical circuits, assembles, and equipment
* Troubleshoot and install encoders, linear transducers, vision systems, and other advanced sensors
* Identify and help implement process improvements to optimize performance and production
* Effectively troubleshoot issues for best resolution while staying calm in stressful situations
* Communicate effectively, comprehend, and follow complicated verbal and written instructions
* Perform general maintenance in a safe and efficient manner and maintain a clean work area
* Work may consist of overtime during busy production times
Qualifications
* 2 years' recent verifiable related work history or equivalent education
* Understanding of industrial electrical safety, MCCs, three-phase power, running conduit, lighting, electrical, and hydraulic systems required
* Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and their programming, preferable
* Read and understand blueprints and circuit diagrams

Minimum Qualifications
Five years of full time paid experience as a journey level electrician in the commercial and/or industrial environment, three years of which must include experience leading electrical staff and assembling estimates/budgets.

Note: If the word "experience" is referenced in the minimum qualifications, it means full-time paid experience unless the minimum qualification states that volunteer experience is acceptable. Part-time paid experience may be accumulated and pro-rated to meet the total experience requirements.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
Criminal History and Background Checks:
The County may access criminal history information on candidates who have accepted a conditional offer of appointment for this class consistent with the provisions of Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 82-602, Personnel Policies, and applicable federal and state laws. The County shall not consider for employment any candidate who has been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor that relates to or impacts the candidate's ability to perform the job duties of this class unless it is determined that mitigating circumstances exist. For purposes of accessing criminal history information, the candidate will be fingerprinted. A subsequent arrest notification may be obtained.
The County may also conduct a background check on the candidate prior to appointment to a position within this class. The background check may include personal and professional reference checks, credit history checks where authorized by Labor Code section 1024.5, Social Security Number verification, professional license/registration verification, military service information and driving history. License Requirement:

JOB SUMMARY
This position performs and coordinates the installation and service of electrical products and services in a residential and light commercial setting.
JOB DUTIES
Installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical equipment and services
Determines general condition of all electrical equipment, can troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, and determine the extent of necessary repairs
Works with and understands blueprints, electrical schematics and job specifications as it applies to your craft
Identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing repair projects
Use the Straight Forward Pricing Guide, accurately present repair or installation options, and complete safety inspections
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of residential electrician experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Background check and drug screening
Clean driving record
Ability to communicate effectively to clients about issues and provide accurate solutions
Must have local and state licenses as needed

Overview of Position
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of electrical equipment installations;
Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, boxes, conduits, feeders, Panels, Commercial Switchgear up to 3000A, Transformers Disconnects and other commercial 208/480V electrical components;
Test electrical equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance;
Maintain, repair, install and test switch-gear, transformers, switchboard meters;
Communicating with clients in a professional, courteous manner at all times.
Collaborating with construction workers, plumbers, and other crew members.
Trenching for electrical underground
Test electrical systems using tools that include voltmeters, oscilloscopes and ohmmeters to determine where issues may be occurring, the safety of the system and to ensure compatibility
Repair electrical issues by replacing or installing components, wiring or devices
Determine the steps necessary to assess an electrical situation using testing devices, blueprints and maps
Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and also through reporting violations of policies, procedures and guidelines to immediate supervisor
Use ladders, scaffolding, platform and lifts to work on electrical systems in commercial properties.

Position Overview:
The Project Administrator supports ASE electrical project teams by performing daily administrative and financial project functions. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate project documentation, tracking job costs, and coordinating with Project Managers, Estimators, Foremen, vendors, and field personnel to ensure projects remain organized, compliant, and financially accurate.
The position has a strong focus on job cost tracking, budget monitoring, and reporting project performance. The Project Administrator must be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while managing multiple concurrent projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
o Work independently to support ASE projects and project teams.
Project Setup & Administration
o Set up and maintain project folders and job files.
o Create Project Information Sheets.
o Set up projects in QuickBooks and Active Project Sheets.
o Coordinate with Estimators and Project Managers to develop and maintain project budgets.
o Obtain, organize, and maintain drawings and required project documentation.
Financial & Job Cost Management
o Track project spending and ensure job cost accuracy.
o Run job cost reports and review against project budgets.
o Maintain Work In Process (WIP) spreadsheets.
o Update project billing forecasts.
o Run Job Cost Summary reports for all projects and sort by Project Manager and service region on a monthly basis.
Billing & Reporting
o Track project billings and create billing worksheets.
o Assist with project and service billing on Fridays and during Project Manager vacations.
o Update Active Project Sheets with weekly Project Manager updates, billing, and subcontractor details.
Time, Expense & Inventory Tracking
o Review timecard coding and assist Project Managers with timecard approvals.
o Review and approve employee expense reports.
o Track project tooling and materials leaving and returning to the shop, including inventory balances.
Equipment, Travel & Logistics
o Manage equipment rentals by coordinating with Project Managers, scheduling rental orders, monitoring usage, and calling off rentals when no longer required.
o Approve rental invoices.
o Coordinate and book flight travel for field employees.
Compliance & Field Support
o Track daily safety forms and follow through on field safety requests.
o Track field employee training and licensing status.
o Assist with contract administration and change order processing with customers and subcontractors.
Qualifications and Experience:
