Job Title: Journeyman Pipefitter
Reports to: President of Maddox Industrial Group
Maddox provides specialized cryogenic and mechanical services for air separation/cryogenic systems, industrial process piping, fabrication, installation, construction, maintenance, confined space rescue for air separation, wastewater/water treatment, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, chemical, and other process industries.

Job Summary
The Journeyman Pipefitter is responsible for laying out, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems and pipe supports used to transport air, water, steam, petroleum, and other liquids and gases. This role also includes the layout and installation of equipment, along with performing additional duties as needed to support project requirements.
Tasks and Responsibilities

Attach pipes to walls, structures, or fixtures such as radiators or tanks, using brackets, clamps tool, or welding equipment
Assemble or secure pipes, tubes, fittings, or related equipment according to specifications
Lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment following blueprints
Other duties as assigned

Working mechanical knowledge and ability to read P&IDs
Heavy physical effort required for frequent lifting or moving of heavy materials
Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds and walk a project site
Regularly required to sit or stand, bend and reach
Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions on jobsites

Education and Experience
High School diploma and 8 or more years of previous pipefitter experience
Strong experience in mechanical construction

Construction & Site Work
Install tower foundations, concrete pads, rebar, anchor bolts, and shelter foundations
Perform trenching, conduit installation, backfill, compaction, grounding, and grading
Assist with site preparation, equipment staging, fencing, and platform construction
Operate construction equipment including skid steers, mini-excavators, plate compactors, concrete saws, and related tools
Safety & Compliance
Follow all TCE, OSHA, and client safety requirements and jobsite protocols-no shortcuts
Maintain clean, organized, hazard-free worksites
Participate in tailgate meetings, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and daily equipment safety checks
Technical Support
Read and follow construction drawings, redlines, and scopes of work

Job Summary
