Candidate must be able to maintain proper documentation, electrical upgrades, and make modifications and improvements.
Analyzing Conditions and Providing Solutions - Identifying and examining production equipment failures to understand root cause analysis, with the help of interpreting schematics and drawings. Investigating, analyzing and repairing electrical systems while working with PLC programming and other computer-based applications.
Driving Innovation and Communication - Actively improving plant efficiency and identifying cost saving opportunities. While maintaining an open dialogue with Maintenance Supervisors, Maintenance Mechanics and Operators, on day-to-day activities and long-term improvement projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a State of Michigan Journeyman License along with demonstrated skills in PLCs, power controls, and instrumentation.
Strong emphasis on behavior-based safety systems.
Good Computer Skills including Office & SAP or ERP Maintenance system required.
AutoCAD and SAP experience highly preferred.
High School diploma or GED required.
Electrical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment (Food Manufacturing highly preferred)
