JOURNEYMAN LINEMEN WANTED MULITPLE STATES
The JourneymanLineman is responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical power systems, including overhead and underground transmission and distribution lines. This position plays a critical role in supporting utility and infrastructure projects safely, efficiently, and in alignment with Probst Electric's high standards for quality and safety.
What You'll Do
As a JourneymanLineman, you'll play a critical role in building and maintaining the infrastructure that keeps communities powered. In this position, you will:
Construct, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical lines and equipment.
Install, replace, and maintain transformers, switches, conductors, insulators, and other system components.
String, sag, and connect wire; set poles; climb structures; and operate aerial lifts and bucket trucks as required.
Follow all Probst Electric, Quanta Services, OSHA, DOT, and client safety standards on every job.
Diagnose and troubleshoot line outages, faults, and service interruptions.
Read and interpret blueprints, staking sheets, and line diagrams to ensure accurate project execution.

What You'll Bring
Required
JourneymanLineman Certification from a recognized DOL or equivalent apprenticeship program.

Summary
This position operates all line equipment used in construction, maintenance and removal of overhead and underground power lines. Performs substation maintenance, construction and switching in substations for both distribution and transmission voltages. Job Conditions
