Job Responsibilities
* Designs systems, ladder diagrams, and control logic
* Troubleshoots electrical programs
* Builds and installs electrical panels
* Monitors and records information from landfill risers, wells, and probes
* Ensures that the landfill facilities are maintained
* Maintains logs and records of work performed
* Logs materials and equipment used on sites
* Operates, maintains, and/or repairs various hand and power tools
* Operates, maintains, and/or repairs various equipment
* Inventories and requests equipment and supplies as needed
* Responds to call-outs and electrical emergencies at sites
* Understands how SCADA systems operate; designs, builds, and installs SCADA systems
* Understands materials, methods, and tools used on site
* Understands advanced electrical safety requirements
* Works in various weather conditions
* Instructs and guides employees in basic work procedures and safety practices
* Understands landfill drawings and layouts
* Understands construction drawings and prints
* Understands and implements lock-out / tag-out procedures
Qualifications
* High School diploma or equivalent required
* Must have two or more years of electrical experience with single and three phase power applications up to 600VAC
* Minimum of three years of diverse industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred
* Must be able to use basic electrical hand tools
* Understanding of intrinsically safe and Ground Fault Protection electrical equipment
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to troubleshoot under pressure
* Must be capable of learning new tasks quickly
* Must be able to work independently with little supervision and as part of a team
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
* Must have valid Driver's License with no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUI's in the last five years
* Landfill electrical experience is a plus
* HVAC and Manufacturing experience is a plus

Position Summary
As an Electrical Installer, you will plan and perform electrical work for solar PV systems, ensuring installations are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all applicable codes and standards. This is a hands-on position in a fast-growing solar company with opportunities for advancement. Key Responsibilities
Safely install and wire residential solar PV systems
Assemble all electrical components of solar installations
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in PV systems
Ensure installations meet NEC, OSHA, AHJ, and utility requirements
Perform conduit bending (EMT) and attic conduit runs
Upload job status updates and photos to company database
Provide excellent customer service throughout the installation process
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Communicate effectively with the Crew Lead and team members
Document work through photos and completion reports
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education & Certifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Valid electrician license preferred
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of electrical installation and repair experience
Solar installation experience highly preferred
Skills & Abilities:
Strong knowledge of current NEC codes
Ability to read and interpret single- and three-line drawings
Proficient with hand and power tools used in electrical work
Experience replacing residential electrical services and distribution panels
Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage work efficiently and meet deadlines
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 50+ pounds throughout the workday
Comfortable standing, climbing, kneeling, and working at heights
Manual dexterity and visual acuity for detailed electrical work
Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments
