Highly motivated individual with the ability to work productively in a team atmosphere.
Ability to interpret electrical plans and prints, stand for extended periods of time, use both hands, arms and legs, stoop and bend, and lift up to 100 pounds.
Demonstrate skill-in pole and tower climbing, URD installations, using hotline tools and working in aerial devices.
Experience working on all types of energized high-voltage systems including and up to 230kV and all related equipment required.
Provide effective and meaningful on-the-job training of apprentices and other crew members in maintenance and construction of power lines.
Able to identify primary and secondary voltage on a circuit, familiarity with induced voltage, and understanding of proper grounding procedures.
Demonstrate the knowledge of operating equipment safely and maintaining company equipment and tools in good working order.
Capable of performing work in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
Demonstrate skill troubleshooting trouble in primary and secondary systems.
Experience effectively conducting a pre-job or tailboard briefing.

QUALIFICATIONS OF A JOURNEYMAN LINEMAN:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completed a certified Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship Program (copy of certificated required).
Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (Class “A”) with ability to meet all DOT requirements.
Must be able to past a Drug and Background Check
Must be CPR and First Aid certified or possess the ability to obtain such certification within 90 days of employment.
Must be willing to Travel for extend periods of time.
This full-time position receives a competitive salary commensurate with experience and position responsibilities. What you will do
As an HVAC Electrical Controls Installer under specific supervision, performs routine installation and checkout on a variety of systems utilizing codes, company procedures, engineering drawings and personal analysis. This is a full-time experienced Maintenance Mechanic position that is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps. Maintenance Mechanics are also responsible for troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC electrical systems, reading schematics, and using electrical testing equipment (Volt-Ohm meter, amp meter, oscilloscope). Our experienced Maintenance Mechanics have extensive understanding of Programmable Logic Controls and contribute a unique skillset through the use of preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking. Maintenance Mechanics have the skill and flexibility to work on any equipment within the facility and to operate lathes, mills, arc and Heliarc welders for repair, and fabrication.

This is not an entry level position, it's a pivotal, hands on role for someone who knows their way around moving lights, atmospherics, dimmers, and LEDs, and who takes pride in keeping every fixture running like new.
In this role, you'll be the point person for diagnosing issues, executing repairs, and ensuring system integrity across multiple productions. The Control Buildings & E-Houses Journeyman is responsible for the installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems within prefabricated control buildings, E-houses, and related modular power systems. This position requires a deep understanding of electrical codes, industrial systems, and the ability to execute work safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Major Duties:
Understand, review and implement the installation per the contract drawings and specifications including single line diagrams, schematics, and wiring prints.
Plan and layout of the project including planned installation material take-off quantities and tool needs based on the project schedule.
Plan the project's material, equipment, and labor needs for timely arrival to and from the site.
Install and terminate conduit, cable trays, and wiring for power and control systems inside Control Buildings and E-houses.
