About this Role

Working under the Mechanic/Electrical Foreman, assists in the repair and replacement of mechanical or electrical equipment, performs routine tasks in the plumbing and electrical department, and is responsible for maintaining standard safety and health precautions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists with boiler repair.
Assists with repair of gas, air and water leaks associated with HVAC systems.
Assists with the installation of mechanical/electrical equipment.
Routine preventative maintenance of HVAC systems.
Minor repairs and/or replacement of HVAC equipment.
Routine maintenance and repair of electrical controls and circuits.
Investigates, identifies and corrects unusual odors, conditions and sounds which might indicate a potential problem.

About this Role
A JourneymanLineman at Irby Construction Company classification will have received their training in an approved forty-two (42) month apprenticeship program or a certified testing program or must have five (5) years of continuous substation/line construction/maintenance experience.
