Summary
APS has an immediate opening for a Journeyman Lineman on our HUBwest Overhead System Construction (Out of Town) Crew.
We will rely on your exceptional work ethic to be responsible for working on new construction projects and maintaining existing underground and overhead facilities.
The work hours for this position are Monday- Friday: 6:00AM - 2:30PM
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Completed a Registered Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship Program
or
an equivalent training program (as approved by APS T&D Technical & Safety Training)
PLUS
One year experience as a Journeyman Lineman**
Must possess a valid manual transmission Commercial Driver's License (Class “A”) with ability to meet all DOT requirements
Experience working on all types of distribution lines including 4kv to 21kv and all related equipment required
Must live within reasonable distance of headquarters (one (1) hour). Reasonable distance requirements will be waived for out-of-town positions in Hotstick, Systems and Reliability.
Must pass written and hands-on exam and successfully demonstrate climbing skills
Subject to Out of town assignments

About the role
The Facilities Electrician is responsible for providing multi-craft (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic) support to the facilities and facilities support equipment including operating, servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairs. Your responsibilities
* Provides facilities mechanical, electrical and controls support (e.g., troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, repairs for air handling, dryers, boilers, HVAC, pumps, lighting, plumping).
* Maintain facilities operation equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following procedures, diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
* Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
* Perform regular facility inspections of equipment and make immediate or scheduled repairs.
* Coordinates with production departments to deconflict necessary repair or preventative maintenance (PM) down windows.
The experience we're looking for
* High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
* Must have electrical certification, experience and knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
* Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in a team-based manufacturing environment.
