Key Responsibilities: Predictive Maintenance Develop and implement an electrical maintenance program Must be able to work with a small team with instrumentation and automation Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems, machinery, and equipment Troubleshoot electrical problems and determine solutions in a timely manner Install and test electrical wiring, circuits, and fixtures Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to reduce the likelihood of failure Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, including local electrical codes and guidelines Respond quickly and effectively to electrical failures or malfunctions Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to address electrical issues affecting production Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities Assist with the installation of new electrical systems and equipment as needed Ensure proper labeling and identification of circuits and electrical equipment Participate in on-call emergency response rotation for after-hours troubleshooting and repairs Keep work areas clean and organized, following all safety protocols Qualifications: Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or in a similar role In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and diagnostics Familiarity with local electrical codes and safety standards Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team Proficiency with electrical hand tools and diagnostic equipment Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment as needed Must be available to work flexible hours and be part of an on-call rotation Education & Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent Low voltage, high current system experience Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program (preferred) Valid Electrician's License (as required by local regulations).in the state of Massachusetts Additional certifications in industrial electrical systems or maintenance (preferred) Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, and work in tight spaces for extended periods Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. or more when required Comfortable working with high voltage systems and under various environmental conditions Additional Information: You will be working in a small team environment where teamwork and good relationships with other team members are critical. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and a high school graduate or GED Equivalent. * Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in heavy physical labor. * Must be able to lift 50lbs or more. * Applicants must have a valid driver's license on the date of hire. * Must be able to obtain CDL license within 90 days of hire date. * Applicants must be able to perform basic mathematical computations including fractions and decimals. * Ability to pass required training with written exams including two weeks of safety training and required department training modules over a 24-month period to progress to qualified lineman. * Must read, write, & speak the English language clearly and have the ability to communicate using telephone and radio.
