Executes daily machine checks, lubrication, machine start-up, clean-up, changeovers and adjustments to maintain the greatest operational efficiency. Install and setup of new machinery and production lines. Diagnose mechanical problems, provide quick and innovative solutions for mechanical equipment breakdowns by applying proven skills in the principles of mechanics, fitting, plumbing, basic welding, metal fabrication, machining, troubleshooting, and analytical problem solving. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for preventative maintenance tasks, work orders and logging reactive work orders. Tank inspection and monitoring, visual inspection for corrosion, leaks or structural damage Valve and pipeline maintenance, lubricate and test valves, inspect and repair pipeline leaks or blockage, within company limits. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reduce Performs root cause failure analysis to eliminate repeat occurrences on maintenance issues. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize disruptions to manufacturing processes. Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards. Possess a broad general knowledge of welding techniques (i.e., MIG, TIG, and Stick) and must be able to apply these techniques to various operations within the plant. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required, technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or a related field preferred. Journeyman Electrician certification. Minimum 7 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing facility is required. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Required working knowledge and experience of mechanical systems, industrial electricity, and PLCs. Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Proficiency with hand and power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments. Experience with manufacturing equipment and tools (e.g., lathes, grinders, welding equipment). Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or on-call as needed. Forklift and scissor lift certified. Physical Requirements Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Manufacturing plant setting with exposure to noise, heat, and moving machinery. Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE). What You'll Need Experience installing and wiring access control, network cameras, door hardware, panel installation & wiring, and programming of door and camera additions. Solid Construction Skills and understanding of system plans. Solid understanding of blueprints, design drawings including wiring and labeling methods, system wiring, wiring methods, cut sheets, wiring schematics, and cable support installation (J-Hook, Raceway, Conduit, Cable Support). Very familiar with basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures unassisted, may require assistance with more complex specifications. Strong customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted. Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper) and ability to read blueprints and drawings; solid math skills (for some positions, this may include calculating area, velocity, resistance, voltage, etc.). Solid verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. The Electrical Installer will be responsible for providing basic hand tools as required to perform the daily tasks of the position.
