Job DescriptionThe job duties include: Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, circuits, and equipment in accordance with National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements. Reading blueprints. Running and bending conduit, wiring and terminating devices, and performing quality control testing and troubleshooting. Responding to service calls, including emergency calls, nights/weekends/overtime, as required. Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in new and renovation construction settings, both residential and commercial. Lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving moderately heavy objects. Communicating effectively with customers, project managers, apprentices, vendors, and other tradespeople. Troubleshoot electrical problems and determine the necessary repairs. Identify materials and quantities needed for new and repair projects. Evaluate customer requests and provide work order descriptions and price projects. The job requirements include: A Journeyman/Electrician license for the state of CA with at least 5 years of experience in the field. The ability to use and understand proper personal protective equipment (PPE). The ability to pass a drug test and criminal background check.
