This is a full-time Transmission Journeyman Lineman role with work locations in multiple states. The primary responsibility of the Journeyman Lineman is to install, repair, and maintain high voltage transmission power lines. In this role, the Journeyman Lineman will be required to work with other team members to complete projects on time while adhering to all safety regulations and using proper equipment. Qualifications Qualifications Completion of an accredited Journeyman Lineman apprenticeship program. Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and a clean driving record Thorough knowledge of electrical theory and practices as well as safety regulations and practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces and to lift up to 75 pounds. Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to maintain positive customer relationships. Availability to work overtime and respond to emergency situations. Willingness for Barehand/Live Line Training as well as Helicopter Training. Must be able to conduct a Job Safety Analysis (JSA) as required. Able to string, sag, clip, and dead-end conductors. Ability to lead crew during on-call rotation. Ability to interpret maps, specifications, staking sheets, and complex diagrams. Ability to maintain records required for time worked and materials. Ability to ascend and descend poles of all types to change out cross arms, transformers, and repair conductors, etc., as well as maintains current knowledge of equipment, and OSHA regulations.
