The Electrical General Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all electrical activities on large-scale commercial construction projects. This role oversees multiple crews, ensures work is performed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with contract documents, codes, and company standards. The General Foreman serves as the primary on-site leader for electrical operations and works closely with project management, other trades, and inspectors.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise all electrical construction activities on assigned projects
Manage multiple electrical foremen and crews, ensuring proper manpower allocation and productivity
Interpret and enforce electrical drawings, specifications, schedules, and scopes of work
Coordinate electrical work with general contractors, other trades, and project stakeholders
Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, safety regulations, and company policies
Lead daily planning meetings, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
Monitor job progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget
Order materials, tools, and equipment; track deliveries and manage inventory on site
Review and approve timecards, daily reports, and production tracking
Assist project management with scheduling, cost control, change orders, and forecasting
Prepare work plans and look-ahead schedules to support project milestones
Mentor and develop foremen and field personnel
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite Required Qualifications
Journeyman Electrician license (as required by state or local jurisdiction)
Minimum 8-10 years of commercial electrical construction experience
At least 3-5 years of experience in a foreman or general foreman role on large commercial projects
Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage coordination
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
Proven leadership and crew management skills
Strong understanding of construction scheduling and productivity tracking
Excellent communication and coordination skills Preferred Qualifications

Our Supply group is responsible for brewing, packaging and shipping the famous Budweiser beer. They also oversee aluminum can manufacturing, barley fields, hop farms and a rice mill. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain machinery, meeting maintenance requirements for 480-volt, 3 phase systems, and minimizing downtime will be necessary
Support, troubleshoot, improve, and maintain high-speed production and packaging machinery
Utilize SAP to accurately and thoroughly detail and track all corrective and preventive maintenance performed throughout the course of the day; including searching and issuing parts, documenting equipment issues and entering inspection/measurement points
Drive plant goals & objectives through individually led projects and continuous improvement activities
Responsible for programmable controllers and computer process controls
Ensure quality standards are met at all times
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
PLC programming and troubleshooting experience required
3 year industrial electrical/programming experience or two-year technical degree preferred
Outstanding communication and team-orientation skills
Knowledge of Servos and related controllers including hydraulic and pneumatic, temperature controls
Ability to troubleshoot problems, identify root causes (e.g. six sigma analysis) and propose and implement remedies
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics

Apprentices, Mango is seeking passionate, hardworking, goal-orientated individuals to join our Apprentice Program! This program provides aspiring Hair Designers an opportunity to work-to-learn the business and the technical skills needed to pass the State Board Cosmetology Licensing Test. In addition to experience working alongside Hair Designers in our salons, Mango provides weekly training and education programs. The curriculum gives apprentices the skills needed to earn their license and perform hair services.
This is a Full-Time commitment with the need for flexible scheduling and will require evenings and weekends. Candidates must have flexibility to work in any of our three locations.
Physical requirements of this position include standing and walking for a minimum of 4 hours, on occasion requires the ability to climb a ladder and balance, utilization of hand and finger dexterity, and lifting/pushing light weights less than 25 pounds. This position also requires frequent reaching with arms/hands, bending, stopping, kneeling, talking, and use of hearing/vision.

Amentum is seeking a Medium Voltage Electrician located in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The Medium Voltage Electrician operates and maintains medium voltage switchgear and controls along with having responsibility for operating equipment. The MV Electrician works in the electrical shop and will support the electrical shop in electrical maintenance duties when no medium voltage work is necessary. In general, the work of the MV electrician requires rounded training and experience acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience. Duties can involve some technical elements such as troubleshooting repairs. The role is hands-on and directly manipulates the equipment requiring a precise operation.
Job Requirements:
Installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, or other transmission equipment
Working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment
Using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments.
Adherence to ANSI safety standards.
Knowledge of NEC code required.
Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and construction drawings.
Experience working with medium voltage electricity.
Responsible for connecting electrical cables.
Experience in grounding.
Experienced in lockout tag out.
Experienced in meagering cables.
13.2Will be required to complete all training including Flash Arc Training and Basic Electrical Safety Training as provided.

Skilled in use of tools common to the trade including electric meters

About the Position
An apprentice supports the Education and Preservation Mission of Historic Trades and the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation by learning and demonstrating the hand skills required to manufacture traditional work of the colonial period. The Apprentice will research primary and secondary 18th-century sources and object-based study. The Apprentice will work with artisans of various trades, historians, curators, and conservators to better understand a specific trade. The Apprentice will preserve and perpetuate the trade skills by providing a pro-active interpretation of the work, the state of technology, and the diverse people who populated and produced such work in the 18th century.
Essential Functions:
Learns and develops proficiency in working with appropriate materials, tools, and 18th c. methods as outlined through a five-level curriculum under the direction of the master or journeyman supervisor.
Research available information and may conduct ongoing supplemental research to the existing body of knowledge.
Applies learned hand skills and research through demonstration while employing the National Association of Interpretation techniques to provide in-depth thematic interpretations of the trade, history, and products and services in the community, region, and world.
Assists with in-depth seminars, workshops, and forums as required using Colonial Williamsburg assigned technological platforms.
Adheres to safety and security procedures for work, workshops, tools, and people
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have good communication skills, learn, execute, demonstrate, research, and teach varied hand skills usually gained through progressive work experience.
