**Your role and responsibilities**
As a Cyber Security Apprentice at IBM, you'll work in Security Operations Center where you will have the opportunity to apply your technical knowledge using the latest tools and technologies in supporting and preventing cyber threats for our clients.
As Cyber Security Apprentice your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
* Monitor and audit client systems to ensure the protection of those systems, information resources, and data within
* Monitor, track, and analyze networks/systems for potential security violations/anomalies and respond to all such incidents
* Work with all teams to investigate potential security violations, respond, and report accordingly
* Perform continuous monitoring duties such as vulnerability assessments, manual configuration reviews, and event analysis.
* Conduct incident/event investigation and analysis and tests security products and systems to detect security weaknesses.
* Assess and detect network vulnerabilities.
* Maintain security system infrastructure.
* Maintain awareness of cyber trends, threats, and vulnerabilities.
* Install, configure, deploy, integrate, operate and maintain security toolsets.

During the apprenticeship duration, you will be required to complete specific learning hours and on the job training that has been outlined to ensure you are developing the skills and competencies essential to the role. You will be able to learn and grow at your own pace, but we expect most apprentices will complete their learning within 12 months. Once you graduate and receive your certificate from our apprentice program, you will be eligible to apply to available full-time roles at IBM.

Position Overview
The general role of a Journeyman Electrician is to work in conjunction with Electricians and Electrical Foreman to install, maintain, and repair various electrical components within customer locations. This position will lead and mentor entry level electricians such as Electrical Apprentices.
This individual will work with both low and high voltage electrical applications, and work in a wide array of industries including Construction, Manufacturing, Power Plants, Commercial, Aggregate, Oil and Gas, Coal, Wind Energy, etc. This position must be flexible and willing to travel with overnight stays and work extended hours as needed.
The Journeyman Electrician will report to the Department Manager - Electrical and will work primarily out of the assigned area.

The festival premieres or produces multiple plays per season across 3 venues. CATF is committed to supporting the unique needs of new work while fostering an environment of fun and company community. Located 90 minutes from DC, CATF makes its home in one of America's coolest small towns, Shepherdstown, WV.
CATF's Electrics Department consists of three Lead Electricians (one per venue) and four Electrics Interns who work together as a team to execute the lighting designs for the festival's productions. Lead Electricians (LE) are responsible for the execution of the lighting design in their assigned venue and will lead the other LEs and Electrics Interns in the hang and focus of their plot, so a high degree of comfort leading both peers and less experienced crew members is a must. LE's will work closely with their assigned Intern/Board-Op to program their venue and may, depending on their intern's experience level, serve as board programmer during tech. The festival's dedication to incubating new work can mean script and design adjustments throughout the build and tech process. CATF values those who are able to collaborate toward practical and artistically-sound solutions in a time-sensitive environment. Flexibility and positivity are key.
Lead Electricians must be able to lift and carry 50lbs, be comfortable working at heights up to 40' (in a combination of lifts, ladders, and catwalks), and have some experience hanging from fixed grids and single purchase counterweight line sets. Previous experience with plots of at least 100 instruments, and moving light programming is preferred. A solid working knowledge of the ETC Ion (or other EOS family console) is required.

Job Description
The Journeyman Electrician performs electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work at CMI's customer site located in Kearneysville, WV.
Key Job Functions
Receives assignments verbally and by work order and will determine the safest best methods to accomplish assignments.
Responsible for electrical preventive maintenance
Testing and repair of the electrical systems
Installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment;
Working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, and using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments.
Qualifications
High School diploma
Minimum of 4 years (within the past 7 years) of providing electrical repair services preferably within a federal facility
Must hold a current journeyman commercial/industrial license issued by WV or other accredited board such as the National Electrical Testing Association (NETA)
Experience in the field of inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, operating and performing preventive maintenance on complex electrical power distribution systems and be familiar with the operations of complex RUPS/SUPS and associated generators and paralleling switchgear.
Must be able to pass government background check
