General Summary:
The Foreman will support the Superintendent or Project Manager in the oversight of the operations and field personnel responsible for the installation, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials/equipment for the assigned job. The Foreman functions as a crew leader or team lead on Job Project tasks or on smaller jobs.
Preferred Job Skills:
Strong commercial and industrial electrical background.
Bilingual in Spanish and English, preferred.
Strong troubleshooting skills utilizing sophisticated test equipment (DMM, Megger, PQM, UCT, IR Camera, etc.).
Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
Ability to safely operate and maintain a specialized electrical service vehicle.
Able to maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
Able to demonstrate necessary computer and keyboard skills.
OSHA 30 Hour, CPR, and First Aid trained.

The **OHE Lineman A** assists JourneymanLineman and the Foreman while in training and learning the trade. **Job Title:** SIC Electrical Helper (WILM CORN VW)
**Job Summary:** Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. seeks Electrical Helpers for a project in Wilmington, NC.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Identify all tools required for tasks.
+ Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks.
+ Assist in the cutting, bending, and running of conduit as specified on blue prints.
+ Assist in the installation, modification, and fabrication of cable tray as necessary according specifications.
+ Assist in pulling cable through specified pathways.
+ Assist in the assembly and installation of electrical equipment.
+ Assist in terminating wires and cables to electrical equipment such as but not limited to breakers, control panels and distribution systems.
+ Assist in the testing of electrical components for continuity and proper voltage readings according to specifications.
+ Assist in the inspection of electrical equipment and components to identify hazards and to ensure the equipment is in good operational condition.
+ Assist in the setup and maintenance of temporary power systems.
+ Assist in the installation of and maintenance of the grounding systems for all equipment and structures.
+ Assist in the hoisting of equipment and tools into location via bull rigging or crane.
**Qualifications & Skills:**
+ Skilled in both written and verbal communication.
+ Complete all Safety and general job training as required by SIC.
+ Observe SIC and Customer safety and quality processes and procedures at all times.
**Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:**
+ Must be able to effectively use all required PPE equipment and lift up to fifty pounds.
+ Conditions include working in office, shop, busy traffic areas, warehouses, and undeveloped properties, with frequent exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and adverse weather conditions.
+ Must be able to safely access all areas of property, buildings, structures, wharves, rooftops and other elevated positions, as well as, confined spaces.
+ Strenuous physical demands are required to safely perform the essential functions associated with this position.
+ Must be able to safely operate all involved equipment and tools.
+ Must be capable of standing for long periods of time, bending consistently, working in confined spaces with limited access, on ladders, in personnel lifts, in workboats, and working in awkward body positions.

Job Title: SIC Maintenance Electrician/FT (GE WILM)
Job Summary: Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. seeks Maintenance Electricians for an on-going site in the Wilmington, NC area - the site has access to customer cafeteria and food services and is in a controlled environment. This role is for an on-going assignment with a 4-10 schedule with OT eligibility. Hired candidates will be considered for Benefits/Paid Time Off after 3-months. Company uniform/Arc Flash attire will be provided. The Facilities Maintenance Electrician will plan, layout, install, modify, and repair wiring, wire ways, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Effectively and efficiently construct new, modify, or repair wire ways, wiring, fixtures, or equipment consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.
Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed.
Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit, using hand and power tools such as porta bands, pipe threaders, and conduit benders.
Pull wiring through conduit, and splice and connect wiring using hand tools.
Install control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels, fastening in place with screws or bolts, using hand and power tools.
Connect power cables to equipment and install grounding leads.
Test continuity of circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components, using instruments.
Detect, recognize, and respond to dangerous conditions or situations.
Perform installations, repairs, and modifications according to NEC, NFPA70e, local, and facility safety regulations.
Perform frequent safety inspections of work area, equipment, and tools in accordance with SIC policy to ensure compliance with government regulations, customer requirements, and SIC's safety program.
Ability to work independently and also foster positive work practices in a team environment.
Must be detail oriented with the ability to analyze and resolve work problems.
Must have the ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities.
Experience:
At least 3 years Electrician experience required and/or combination of completed apprenticeship/training program with experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
Obtain OSHA 10 card
Skilled in both written and verbal communication.
Complete all Safety and general job training as required by SIC.
Training in NFPA70e is preferred; if selected, SIC will enroll in next course
Observe SIC and Customer safety and quality processes and procedures at all times.
Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:
May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
Must be able to move in and around confided spaces and uneven areas

Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
