Plumbing: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in campus buildings. Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems. Plan, install, and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment, and controls for water, waste, gases, or hot liquid systems. Perform work in accordance with all relevant building codes, installation requirements, and legislation. Other Duties: Develop and perform preventative maintenance schedules of systems as scheduled. Backup other maintenance personnel to respond to emergency calls as designated by the Facilities Manager. Using power and hand tools, meters, and other similar measuring equipment associated with the trades. Responsible for snow shoveling, plowing, and other equipment operations on a rotating schedule, including weekends and other hours not regularly scheduled. Schedule: Full-time hourly position, 40 hours a week 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a half-hour meal break, 12 months. This position must be available as needed for all school events and functions, including but not limited to: Parents Weekend, Reunion Weekend, and Commencement. Full-time benefits. Employee will work a weekend duty assignment on a rotating schedule with other employees.
