Full-time
$17 -$20 per hour, based upon experience
IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL:
Read and interpret customer part prints
Spray paint using CARC Specifications, Metal Parts for the Military
Surface preparation via sand blasting and parts washing
Maintain oven environment via PM’s including system checks and filter replacement
Work with Maintenance to fine tune environmental controls
Assess line speed, monitor oven temperatures, and run sample placards for salt spray
testing
Maintain production records for monitoring process control
Maintain paint guns to ensure optimum coating weight
Clean and maintain equipment
Maintain adequate supply paint and supplies
Assures that proper type and color of paint is used on each job
Complete required job paperwork and job transaction reporting in ERP system
Maintain orderly and clean work area
Support and promote safe practices and environmental commitments in alignment with
company policies and compliance requirements
ADDITIONALLY, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IS REQUIRED TO HAVE:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of three years prior experience in commercial painting of metal products for
manufacturing concern
Must be able to read blueprints
Possess thorough knowledge of paint and other coating materials to ensure parts are
painted and protected per contract specifications
Requires minimum of three years prior experience in commercial painting of metal products
and knowledge of various paint equipment
