Outlook Group is looking for an experienced Digital Hybrid Press Operator to join our team. This person will set up and run a Domino Digital Hybrid press to print the high quality labels that we are known for. Outlook Group prints pressure-sensitive labels, peel and reseal labels and also variable data labels. Part of your responsibility will be to set up the press, ensure the job is running properly and check quality throughout the run of printing labels.
You will be working with custom product packaging and printing labels, shrink sleeves, flexible packaging, and fulfillment in several industries such as food and beverage, personal care, and consumer healthcare.
This is a 2nd OR 3rd shift opportunity.
Responsibilities include:
Setting up jobs according to work orders
Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production run
Troubleshoot and correct print issues to minimize downtime and waste
Qualified applicants will have:
Minimum of 2+ years of experience operating a Digital Hybrid Flexographic Press or similar equipment
Strong attention to detail

General Position Summary:
The Flexo Press Operator performs all tasks in make-ready, preventative maintenance and production run assignments. They are responsible for set-ups, ensuring that quality is to the highest standards and that production schedules are met as required. At Eurostampa we believe in investing in our employees. Fills trays.
Sets impression registration.

Duties & Expectations on the Job:

Supply the lines and packing/stage areas with required materials.
Rotate presses every 2 to 3 hours.
Work all scheduled shifts.

As a Press Operator, you are responsible for inspecting and sorting molded or assembled parts/ products for defects, and/or deviations from specifications. Responsibilities
Monitor press to ensure parts are completely ejected from the mold. Notify Production Supervisor of any problems observed or encountered during the molding operation.
Pack acceptable parts into pre-defined packaging or pallet configuration according to the established quality standard.
Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.
Mark/label completed container(s)/bundle(s) with designated item information according to establish quality standards.
Record production data.
Remove molded parts from the collection bin or table and perform visual inspection for conformance to established quality standards.
Maintain clean and organized work area making sure to properly discard rejected parts and to keep area free of debris and standing water.
Perform duties in conformance with all established safety policies and procedures.
Transfer parts in/out of drying tunnel as required/instructed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
