Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate electrical installation crews on-site.
Assign daily tasks and monitor crew performance.
Ensure safe work practices and enforce OSHA and site-specific safety standards.
Support installation of electrical systems for semiconductor tools, including power distribution, controls, and grounding.
Verify work quality and adherence to drawings, specifications, and client standards.
Communicate progress and issues to the General Foreman or Superintendent.
Maintain accurate records of crew hours, materials, and equipment usage.
Assist with site inspections, safety audits, and commissioning activities.
Resolve minor field-level issues and escalate larger concerns when necessary.
Requirements:
Active Journeyman's Electrical License or above
5+ years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
Knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, and safety protocols.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
OSHA 30 certification required.
Familiarity with construction management tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments.
Prior work on Semiconductor construction projects or similar tool install clients.
Understanding of cleanroom protocols and commissioning procedures.
Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. • Assembles and installs valves, pipes and fittings composed of metals, i.e. iron, steel, copper, brass, lead and non-metals, i.e. glass, vitrified clay and plastic using hand tools and power tools.
• Joins pipe using mechanical solder, brazing and pipe joining methods.
• Fills pipe systems with water or air and reads gauges to determine system leaks.
• Maintains the work area in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations (should support implementation of 6S). Maintains required personal tools, and properly uses all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and safety equipment.
In addition, provide leak detection services to inspect and survey systems for the cause and origin of concealed leaks behind walls, under concrete slabs and asphalt, in basements, in landscaping, water intrusion in roofs, irrigation systems, radiant heat systems, and pools and spas. You may also complete water, sewer and specific line location, and utility line location. Duties include going to commercial and residential locations to perform leak detection work on underground piping systems inside and outside buildings, as well as on swimming pools and spas. Locating leaks is also done on sewer systems. All of the leak detection work is done above ground. Various forms of Electronic Leak Detection equipment are used on each job depending on the type of piping needing locating and depths, etc., including infrared camera. Inert gasses and plugs for sealing systems for testing are also used. Other duties may be assigned.
