Job Description Clean tanks/vessels in confined spaces and perform general shipyard cleaning Build and dismantle scaffolds and other wooden structures Build and dismantle safety handrails and other equipment Sort, inspect and stack lumber and metal scaffold components Constructs and dismantles scaffolding of multiple types. Installs and removes sky climbers, safety handrails, lifelines, and water evacuation equipment. Qualification Standards Scaffold building experience and a certificate in high reach equipment and sky climbers are required. Must have Scaffold Competent Personal Training. Must have the ability to determine the amount and type of materials needed for constructing scaffolds. Must have the ability to pass mechanical reasoning. Must be clean shaven for a respirator fit (modest moustache is fine). Must have the ability to work at heights above thirty feet, in confined spaces, and be able to work any shift.
