This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on refrigerated systems (reefers) installed in intermodal shipping containers. The technician may also be required to service and repair generators and other power equipment, and must be capable of operating service trucks and forklifts as part of daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refrigeration systems, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical maintenance, and will work in accordance with IAM union guidelines and safety standards. Candidates must be available to work either of two scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
