About the Role
Interprets blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
Installs pipes and fixtures; assembles fittings and valves; and modifies length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for installations and services.
Performs inspections of plumbing systems to ensure quality control, adherence to all relevant codes, and to identify and replace any worn or damaged parts.
Key Qualifications
Current and valid Journeyman Plumbing License in Posted State is required.
Previous technical and trade experience (5+ years).
In-depth knowledge of maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems, as well as construction industry safety standards and procedures.
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal competence on a technical level.
Excellent troubleshooting and time-management skills.
Valid drivers license.

The position of electrician performs journey-level electrical work in the maintenance, repair, and construction of all District facilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Communicate effectively with staff and the general public.
* Alter, maintain, repair, or install wiring, cables, switches, controls, fuse boxes, breaker panels, distribution panels, buzzer and bell circuits, power circuits, and communication circuits. May construct new facilities from blue prints and specifications.

* Inspect electrical systems, communications systems, and equipment to detect and correct faulty components or parts.

* Perform alterations, adjustments, modification, repair, and installation of electrical equipment systems.
* Must be familiar with low voltage systems, i.e. fire, intercom.
* Estimate cost of work and order corresponding materials and supplies.
* Establish and maintain records of work performed.
* Drive truck, loading and unloading materials and supplies as necessary.
* Operate tools and equipment necessary to perform tasks.
* Perform maintenance on equipment used to carry out the work.
* Travel from location to location to accomplish tasks.
* Perform first aid/CPR when necessary.

About the Role
Interprets blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.

Performs inspections of plumbing systems to ensure quality control, adherence to all relevant codes, and to identify and replace any worn or damaged parts.
Key Qualifications
Current and valid Journeyman Plumbing License in Posted State is required.
Previous technical and trade experience (5+ years).
In-depth knowledge of maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems, as well as construction industry safety standards and procedures.
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal competence on a technical level.
Excellent troubleshooting and time-management skills.
Valid drivers license.
