KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ The Welder/Craftsman responsible for the maintenance and repair of the refinery equipment including, but not limited to, all process units, tank farms, buildings and yards.
+ The Welder/Craftsman completes routine paperwork and work orders regarding the repair of process equipment.
+ Work schedule: 4/10s, Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm.
+ Must be able to work mandatory overtime.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ A valid driver's license required.
+ Must pass assessments and to show evidence of having previously been qualified to weld carbon steel pipe with the GTAW (TIG) and SMAW (stick) processes.
+ Must qualify to similar MPC Welding Procedures per the requirements of ASME Section IX.
+ Must pass Marathon's written test and a hands-on skill demonstration test.
+ Must be able to wear the appropriate PPE and physically perform the job duties which include working in an outdoor process facility under the direction of the Maintenance Department.
+ Must participate in pre-employment assessment, background check, and drug/alcohol/medical screening.
+ NCCCO fixed Cab Certification required within 9 months of starting date if the candidate does not already have the certification.

Position Summary
Lee Machinery Movers is seeking a talented Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Pontiac, Michigan. This is an onsite position that requires the selected candidate to be onsite 5 days per week and travel as needed to project locations throughout Michigan and occasionally out of state. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for various electrical tasks, including installation, repair, and servicing of electrical systems in both industrial and commercial settings. Your duties will involve testing, troubleshooting, and replacing electrical components to ensure safe and efficient system operation. Additionally, you will play a vital role in mentoring and guiding apprentices.
Responsibilities
Coaching, guiding and counseling other Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians
Obtaining the required equipment, tools, and materials for projects
Installing and repairing electrical systems
Maintaining electrical systems by identifying and resolving potential issues
Testing and troubleshooting electrical systems
Reviewing and performing preventative maintenance measures and explaining these to clients and other electricians
Interpreting blueprints
Responding promptly during emergencies
Building relationships with clients and other Electricians
Managing workload, tasks and on the job (OTJ) training of Apprentice Electricians
Adhering to and modeling all safety protocols and electrical standards
Requirements
High school diploma or similar
A valid driver's license
A valid Journeyman Electrician license
Experience with power tools and other equipment used in construction
Exceptional customer service skills
Outstanding communication skills, including written and verbal communication
Knowledge of health and OSHA codes
Must hold a valid driver's license in good standing.
Driving record must meet company standards and not reflect any disqualifying violations per our driving policy.
Physical Requirements
Ability to ascend/descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and/or operate scissor/boom lifts while working at height
Ability to work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment
Ability to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionally
Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
Ability to stand for long periods of time, push, pull, bend, stoop, crouch, and crawl
Ability to successfully pass a 10-panel drug screen (as needed)
