General Laborer Job Status: Hourly Work Schedule: As Assigned Reports to: As Assigned Positions Supervised: None The General Laborer assists in the performance of a variety of plant activities from clean-up, stick laying, packaging, maintenance support, etc. Essential Functions/Duties: • Ensure all environmental and safety procedures are followed and report all unsafe or non-compliant activities. • Performs a variety of routine physical labor tasks, as assigned. Job Site is in West Palm Beach Essential Functions Cleanup of construction site as needed, by removing and properly disposing of construction debris, rubble, waste materials and other site hazards Moving materials to the worksite and ensuring all tools, machinery, and other equipment are safely set up. Add and/or remove fill on jobsite Set braces to support trenches or excavation areas Assist in bending conduit and pulling wire Unload trucks, receive deliveries and transfer materials throughout jobsite Maintain a safe, clean and secure job site by handling and storing materials and tools properly when not in use Operate equipment on the job site Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions and vibration. The employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
