Provides direct and indirect student learning opportunities. Communicates with Director and other faculty, as appropriate about student needs, concerns and progress. SON Instructor- MSN Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. Master's Degree in Nursing required. May consider BSN candidate if enrolled in MSN program within 1 year of completion period Graduate for an accredited school of nursing program and postsecondary master's degree in nursing program. BLS/CPR upon hire or obtain prior to patient care. Current Arkansas Registered Nurse Licensure. This is a safety sensitive position. * Minimum Requirements : Adequate verbal and written communication skills to interact with students, patients, families, and faculty Capacity to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals Basic flexibility to adapt to changes in school and student needs. 3 years of clinical experience, particularly in an acute care setting Preferred Requirements: Previous teaching or precepting experience in academic or clinical setting. Qualifications Have earned an Associate Degree in medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution OR Have passed the Health and Human Services proficiency exam on or before February 28, 1992 OR On or before April 24, 1995, be a high school graduate or equivalent and have either graduated from an approved or accredited medical laboratory or clinical laboratory training program or successfully completed an official US military medical laboratory training course of at least 50 weeks duration and have held the military enlisted occupational specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist. Testing personnel of Conway Regional Health System Clinical Laboratories must have successfully completed board registry exams and maintain valid licensure. Graduates are allowed one year to attain certification.
