The Cardiac Stepdown Unit is staffed by the Registered Nurse (RN) who provides care for a wide variety of patients including heart failure, acute myocardial infarction (AMI), and stable post interventional cardiology procedure patients. The obstetric unit in Women's & Infants' Services is comprised of 16 LDRP (labor/delivery/recovery/postpartum) rooms and an additional 8 post-partum or general care rooms. Our Women's & Infants' team is supported by a full-time W&I Licensed Social Worker, Inpatient and Outpatient Lactation Support Services and a Women's Center Outreach team.
