Working in the fast food industry is a different experience. Enjoy cooking, sort of, pushing timers isn’t really cooking but hard to keep up with all the fryers without timers. Enjoy the different types of coworkers!
Being a senior citizen and cooking for over 50 years, corporate policies are hard to follow! But, do understand with the current workforce , also I have never been in any kitchen before without a knife available! I have had chicken in the bags that were miscut and the back was still attached to the breast and had to use my knife to separate. But with the kids working there, having a good knife would be a liability I guess? Having a food truck business has been very helpful knowing the regulations of the industry as well as the business itself!
Being able to just work PT, as being retired and not being married to a job!
