Job Description: As the Technical Writer/Editor supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) Integrated Ship Defense (ISD) Team, you will be providing Combat System Ship Qualification Trials (CSSQT) Engineering Administrative Support on various surfaces combatant ships. You will provide original preparation formatting of CSSQT test plan documentation in collaboration with the CSSQT Team members who provide technical expertise and experience. You will also deliver preliminary document(s) to the Government IAW established Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) schedules. The Government will review and provide comments, if required, and the you will input the comments and deliver a Final document within specified time frames. Duties Help The program will tentatively begin on the following dates: * 05/18/26 - 07/24/26 * 06/01/26 - 08/07/26 Law students will be assigned to work with SEC staff members on projects and assignments that cover a broad range of the Commission's work. Intern assignments range from supporting litigation to assisting with drafting new regulations to helping with reviews, exams or public outreach. The SEC Scholars Legal Program will be full-time or part-time during the Summer. Work schedule will be determined and agreed upon based on the selectees' academic course load schedule and division/office needs. You must continue to meet these eligibility requirements throughout the duration of your volunteer service under the SEC Scholars Legal Program. * An applicant who is less than half time enrolled immediately prior to graduating may be considered a student for purposes of this Program.
