They are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform other warehouse duties. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - MATERIAL HANDLER - RECEIVING AND STAGING Overseeing robotic and automated warehouse functions such as packaging, loading, storage, and distribution of product. Loading trailers, verifying, and overseeing proper stacking and packing of product. Reporting shortages, damages, and misplacements to proper personnel. Manage and assist with operation of machinery which includes identifying, troubleshooting and quick repair of minor machine issues and needed robotic adjustments. Set up operations which include line changeovers, coding equipment, and conveyor control set up. Pulling and preparing products for shipment. Ensure product is pulled from proper locations- and delivered to proper storage locations. Moving products from the staging or storage areas into trailers. Maintaining the facilities, equipment, and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Inventory receipt from vendors including documentation, quality review per JTM specs and quantity verification. Communication with internal and external customers per JTM Way. Able to handle a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment. High school degree or equivalent certification Must be at least 18 years of age. Forklift training and experience Capable of operating forklifts and their attachments Good math and reading skills. Job Description AZZ has an exciting 1st shift opportunity for a Maintenance Technician at our Canton East facility. Reporting to the Plant Manager you will perform maintenance services in the areas of PM's, basic plumbing & electricity, welding, and machine servicing. Duties and Responsibilities * Repairs, replaces, and reassembles defective equipment parts using hand and power tools. * Performs routine preventive maintenance on equipment and buildings. * Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems and determines how to correct them. * Operates cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. * Maintain a clean and organized shop area. Qualifications * 6 months to 1-year related experience required. * Knowledge of hot dip galvanizing, steel fabrication or other custom metal coating operations is a plus. * Welding/Fabrication experience preferred. * Experience with electrical systems, cranes, hoists, and forklifts preferred. * Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. * Willingness to learn new skills is a must!
