    Position: Behavior Technician Status: Full-Time/Part-Time/Contingent, Non-Exempt Reports to: Associate Clinical Manager ABA Supervision Provided by: BCBA/QBHP Job Summary: The Behavior Technician implements treatment plans and provide direct line therapy for children, teenagers, and young adults with autism spectrum disorders. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Provide direct line therapy to clients following all of the guidelines set forth in the treatment plan. Work 1:1 or in small groups to work on individualized skill acquisition objectives. Manages 2-3 client cases which include: summarizing data, maintaining a program book and materials, participating in treatment planning sessions, and maintaining a good rapport with parents of clients through weekly parent contacts. Manages challenging behaviors through approved QBS techniques with clients using training and behavior plan provided. Graduate student supervision provided. Participates in required trainings. Attend all scheduled team meetings. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to work with children, teenagers, and young adults of various developmental levels Ability to be trained in and comply with Applied Behavior Analysis intervention methods Following initial staff training (within 90 days), perform New Hire Competencies with 90% accuracy. Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability work collaboratively with parents and team members Professional presentation of self and company Cultural competence Must be able to communicate effectively and receptively in order to follow through with individualized behavior plan, emergency procedures, and report on activities. Ability to provide culturally competent services that shows sensitivity to the service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
