    Position: Infant Mental Health/Home Based Therapist Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Reports to: Infant Mental Health Program Supervisor Location: Royal Oak Job Summary: The Infant Mental Health/Home-Based Therapist will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with program staff and community partners to deliver a comprehensive range of services to infants and their families. This role focuses on strengthening and supporting the parent-infant relationship, identifying family needs, and providing developmentally appropriate, relationship-based therapeutic interventions aimed at promoting healthy attachment and early childhood development. Responsibilities: Provide parent-child relationship focused therapy and case management services within the home and community settings for pregnant women, fathers, and young children birth to age six. Conduct comprehensive assessments and treatment planning with measurable objectives. Provide support and crisis intervention with families and children involved with the program. Assist in coordination and referrals of support services for the family. Provide parent education and guidance. Support overall child development. Work cooperatively as a member of a team with program staff and community partners. Completes timely documentation, as outlined by contracts and best practice standards, including assessments, treatment planning, and weekly and quarterly paperwork, which includes case file reviews, follow ups, collateral contacts, and provisions for after care. Collaborates with collateral professionals, referral sources, and providers of ancillary services on behalf of consumers, including making referrals and coordinating care. Manages a caseload of 8-10 families, based on referral source and family needs. Verifies Medicaid eligibility and service authorizations to ensure payment of services. Attend team meetings, staff meetings, and supervisions, as scheduled. Complete all mandatory trainings, as required by contract, Judson Center, and licensure. Performs other duties as assigned. Ability to comply with all applicable licensing rules, accreditation standards, code of ethics, insurance reimbursement rules, and Judson Center's policies and procedures. Promote healthy social-emotional development in children by building on family strengths while addressing challenges related to attachment, mental health, and environmental stressors. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations/Requirements: Master's degree in social work or counseling State licensure in Social Work, or Counseling (LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC) Valid Michigan Driver's License, appropriate insurance and use of own vehicle. One (1) year clinical experience working persons with young children, toddlers, and infants Candidates must have or be actively working toward an Infant Mental Health Endorsement through the Michigan Association for Infant Mental Health (MI-AIMH). If not currently endorsed, a waiver from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) is required and must be maintained while.
