She joined Judson from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, where she was Vice President of Development. Ms. Broadus led annual, capital and planned giving fundraising from individuals and foundations; donor stewardship; and Trustee relations for a 90-person board. She secured more than $20M in gifts during her tenure. Prior to the Rock Hall, Dionne was at Case Western Reserve University, where she served as Associate Dean, Development at the Mandel School of social work, managed the Dean’s Visiting Committee and led the strategy to help the school meet annual attainment and scholarship campaign goals. During her five years at Case Western Reserve, she also held senior staff roles in foundation and community relations. Before returning to her hometown of Cleveland from NYC, Dionne held senior leadership positions in development and corporate partnerships for the High Line; the City of New York in Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s administration; BET Networks and Essence Magazine. Dionne earned a B.A, magna cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Before her development career, Ms. Broadus practiced corporate & finance law in Chicago. She is an active community volunteer in Cleveland, serving as a civic resident trustee of University Circle, Inc, and is a member of the Greater Cleveland Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the Cleveland Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. She loves sports, cheering for all Cleveland teams, reading, travel and biking.
