Perform regular inspections of plant systems to identify and resolve issues or escalate to maintenance/engineering teams.
Start up, shut down, and clean process equipment in accordance with SOPs and safety protocols.
Accurately record operating data, process changes, and shift reports.
Collect in-process samples and collaborate with quality control personnel to ensure product compliance.
Handle and transfer raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using proper procedures.
Respond to alarms, upsets, and emergency situations following plant safety and emergency response protocols.
Support preventive maintenance activities and assist with equipment troubleshooting.
Work as part of a rotating shift team to maintain 24/7 operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or technical certification in Chemical Process Technology, Process Operations, or related field preferred.
1-2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing facility/production environment/plant operations is highly preferred.
Some exposure or experience working with chemical, petrochemical is a big plus, but can be trained for the right person.
Skilled knowledge of chemical processes, equipment, and safety standards (OSHA, PSM, environmental compliance).
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, SOPs, batch sheets, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Mechanical aptitude with experience operating pumps, valves, control panels, and instrumentation.
Advanced communication skills and ability to work effectively on a shift team.
Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime; Ability to support a 12 hour shift is required.

Key Responsibilities
RF Leakage Detection & Measurement:
Perform network-wide RF leakage tests using advanced detection systems (Trilithic / VIAVI Seeker / Searcher series, Spectrum Analyzers).
Conduct drive testing and site-based measurements to locate and quantify leakage points.
Utilize GPS mapping and tagging tools for accurate localization and reporting.
Field Testing & Troubleshooting:
Identify interference sources, analyze spectrum data, and recommend corrective actions.
Validate network shielding, grounding, and isolation integrity to prevent ingress and egress.
Collaborate with RF design and network engineering teams to resolve persistent signal leakage issues.
Regulatory Compliance & Reporting:
Maintain Cumulative Leakage Index (CLI) metrics within regulatory limits (FCC/DoT/ITU).
Prepare detailed leakage reports, field summaries, and compliance documentation.
Support internal and external audits and assist during FCC inspections.
Network Optimization & Collaboration:
Partner with network and construction teams for system upgrades or new builds.
Apply RF fundamentals to improve network quality, reduce interference, and enhance coverage performance.
Qualifications
Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics, Telecommunications, or Electrical Engineering.
Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, signal propagation, shielding, and EMC/EMI compliance.
Hands-on experience with RF measurement instruments (spectrum analyzers, leakage detectors, field strength meters).
Familiarity with CATV / Broadband DOCSIS / LTE / 5G systems and FCC CLI testing standards.
Proficiency in field testing, data logging, and technical reporting.
Ability to work independently in outdoor and field environments.
Preferred Experience
Prior experience in RF field engineering, drive testing, or network optimization (cellular, cable, or broadcast).
Exposure to Planet, TEMS, Nemo, XCAL, or similar RF analysis tools.
RF/EMC Compliance Certification and/or Safety Training for Field Work.
