CGI is looking for a Strategic Analyst in the Newport News, VA area to join our team. This position will support a Department of Defense (DoD) client by providing systems support services, IT services, application maintenance, development and enhancement to the customer base. These services include the employment of information technology to support architecture development, manage architecture data, promote sharing and reuse of data; decision support; and providing interface and liaison between internal and external organizations. The support involves planning, organizing, securing, coordinating, and managing resources to initiate and successfully deliver the requirements of a large government contract across a highly diverse team. This project is a fast paced and dynamic environment that leverages such things as Agile/Scrum methodology to quickly build solutions based on customer requirements. This position is located in Newport News, VA. Your future duties and responsibilities: - Conduct strategic analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes within the organization - Utilize TDMP (Theater Distribution Management Program) experience to manage and optimize theater distribution operations, ensuring efficient and effective logistics support - Prepare and deliver briefings to General Officers, presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner - Collaborate with U.S. Army stakeholders to understand and define requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives - Gather and analyze IT requirements, working closely with technical teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation - Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including military personnel and other government agencies - Provide strategic recommendations based on thorough analysis of data and trends, supporting the development of long-term plans and initiatives - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies, making adjustments Required qualifications to be successful in this role: - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university - Active Top Secret clearance - TDMP (Theater Distribution Management Program) experience - Experience briefing General Officers - Experience with U.S. Army requirements - Understanding of IT requirements gathering - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to brief senior leadership effectively - Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders - Strong organizational and time management skills - Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required: - Advanced degree in a related field - Experience working in a government or defense environment - Knowledge of advanced military operations and logistics - Familiarity with IT systems and software used in military operations CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $96,500.00 - $213,800.00.
